Re: hypo lines!!!
Juvie Desert Ghost.
Best looking ghost (hypo) out there as adults.
These get lighter with each shed.

Re: hypo lines!!!
I'm not quite sure I understand the question. Are you asking for ghost morphs, or specific lines? I haven't heard of ghost lines. I don't think they're kept track of since (assuming) all ghosts can be mixed, unlike say Axanthic lines.
Also, I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic "butterscotch ,blue, yellow, orange, green" Don't think there are those color ghosts.

Re: hypo lines!!!
that last pair is just STUNNING!
FWIW, the hypos don't seem to translate to photos so well. you really gotta see 'um to get a feel for how cool they are.

There are different lines of Hypo/Ghost, the ones listed above are actual lines. Just like the Axanthic(VPI, Jolliff, Ect...)

They start as really bright normal looking animals and as they shed and age, they change. As adults they have the typical desert ghost look.
They go thru a big change similiar to how the candy/toffee changes as it ages.

Re: hypo lines!!!
Isnt the only one that is not the G1 line?

Re: hypo lines!!!
what or who makes/is the nicest brightest most faded hypo? witch one holds its color best?

Re: hypo lines!!!
most people seem to like the orange hypo the most in my opinion. its odd because i normally dont see too much "orange" in them lol if you see something labeled as a "hypo" at the show the best thing you can do is ask what line its from and go from there... getting the one YOU think best represents the morph. i do believe that there is only one line that isnt compatible with the rest but im not positive..:gj:

Re: hypo lines!!!
From what I read on the forum a while back
butterscotch, yellow, and orange are all the same morph, your typical "hypo", just different shade of colors, you can breed a orange to a orange and produce all 3 of those, what you label them depends on what the babies look like.
Blue is its own line and Green is its own line

Re: hypo lines!!!
Check Joe Compel's website, he has some of the nicest ghosts in my opinion. I believe he calls his line butterscotch. Plus, he's a great guy...

Re: hypo lines!!!
orange, yellow and butterscotch ghosts are all compatible.
blue and green and extreme hypo are not ( i have seen extreme hypos in person, CRAZY!)
and the desert ghost and desert morphs are a co-dom or dom, not a recessive like the other ghosts mentioned above.

No. The desert ghost is recessive. The desert is dominant (no super yet).

Re: hypo lines!!!
have a look at TSK site, they are the guys working with (Well originally) the extreme hypo.
AFAIK it IS compatible with orange hypo it just won't produce 'extreme' hypos.
-
Re: hypo lines!!!
I think what used to be called "green" was compatible with the larger group of hypos (i.e. yellow/orange/butterscotch, etc). But sounds like there might be a new "green" line that isn't?
This is the one and only hypo I've produced. His father's line is from the TSK extreme (via thier hypo mojave line) and his mother from whatever Brian Sharp was selling years ago (currently he lists "butterscotch/yellow"). It was already known extreme was compatible with the larger group but this is an example.

Re: hypo lines!!!
omg! is there a black lite on it!?!? thats awesome, got a picture of the extreme line?
-
Re: hypo lines!!!
I used a florescent shop light but with regular bulbs. Just can't get well lit enough without some sort of light closer to the snake than just the overheads.
Needed the cash more than a male so sold him. Sort of had an idea he might turn out to be a nice hypo but don't have any experience owning others to compare him to. I've seen some similar looking older hypos I liked come through a Denver snake store but don't know how typical they where to seeing hypos in general in person. Used to be you would see pictures and could hardly tell they weren’t normals but maybe it's as much our cameras getting better as selective breeding or better lines.

Re: hypo lines!!!
I THINK this is the original import that TSK was calling Extreme Hypo but now seem to be calling Green Hypo
http://thesnakekeeper.com/db_photos/...hypo01f_lg.jpg
I think she is pretty cool but maybe they took some flack for the "extreme" name?
I searched back on their lineage pages to find her. Looks like she was hatched in 95 and bred to a mojave from 98 listed from the same presumed import source which I THINK is the founding mojave:
