hey dude, taker easy, the OP could have a disease like dyslexia

OP, you may want to try these pages if you're a bit confused:

Intro to Reptile Genetics (a really great glossary of snake related terms)

    Simple Recessive Genetics

    CoDominant/Dominant Genetics

    hope that helps a bit!

    straight from Merrium Webster:

Disease: a condition of the living animal or plant body or of one of its parts that impairs normal functioning and is typically manifested by distinguishing signs and symptoms

cancer is a disease, and it is not contagious. same with MS and various other things.

all in all, i hope the OP got some help from the links i posted.

Well I guess we won’t be hearing anything from that poster for a while; there are a lot of rude and horribly judgmental people on this forum. If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all it really just makes you look bad as a person. People come to this sight for help with their pets or breeding stock and to learn from one another, making fun of someone is childish and aren’t we all adults.

I believe the thing that is most annoying to some members here is the fact that this OP keeps posting the exact same question (only for different snakes) over and over. He/she is also misspelling the same words every time. The information he asks for can be obtained by reading stickies on this very site concerning genetics. As for copy and paste? If that were so, then why not just spell check?

The people here are much more informative than on yahoo answers. The people here are also more easily annoyed by repetitiveness. Please try to do some of your own research before you continue to ask how to make every single morph there is.

This site generally welcomes new members with open arms, regardless of age, spelling, experience etc.. Just try to be less repetitive and you should begin getting better responses to your questions.

Believe it or not there are people in this world that are not good with computers and may not know how to search for certain things. If it is annoying to you then do not answer the post..just ignore it....there are enough other people on this forum that would be happy to answer the questions regardless of how repetitive....at least I hope there are..

Just last night I had to help a friend set up an iherp page cause he didnt know how. He didnt even know what bookmarks or tabs were....did i make fun of him....yes but thats because he has been my friend for years :P....after making fun of him i sat for about an hour and a half or so setting up his page and teaching him some stuff about the internet.

Everyone wants to educate people and turn people on to the world of reptiles but if i was new to herps and i got some of those responses I dont think I would ever want to be a member of the herp world and would probably be turned off to the whole idea of it all...just my 2 cents

If the OP is having this problem like you say then here you go...

~A pretty good list of morphs~

~Here is an amazing picture list of morphs by NERD. Click on each picture for genetic details or combos for that morph.~

I dont believe anything about my post was bad (and I know you did not insinuate that). I brought to light the reason some people were getting rude. That post should not have discouraged the OP. On the contrary, it should have encouraged him to stay. I made a good point. If this is someone who plans to breed for future sales it is an excellent idea for him to learn what will turn off potential buyers. The spelling is less annoying than the text speak. If a person cant spell very well it can be looked over. If a person is blatently lazy and refuses to use anything other than text speak. ---> How do u mak... wat is it cald... etc... That is very different than having a spelling or dyslexia problem.

I know what u mean. being in the world of wild cats for the last cupel of years u find out that known wants to teach u anything. and and if u do something that they dont like... like breeding them or god forbid breeding hybrids. you'l be the plague of the community cuz u do something they dont like. and its not the little people nether its the the people in high places that deside wether or not u git to own a wild cat or a snake.

Those are great links. The nerd site is awesome!

I have some family members with a learning disability and 4 cousins with Down syndrome. The way I answered the OP was in fact in a way that a teacher would have. Explain the problem while being stern and understanding.
I would not have gotten quite as rude as some did. I myself (as admitted in another OP's thread) have aspergers syndrome. Because of this I do not like nor do I understand most humans. My memory is terrible as well. But here I try to help out as much as I can and if I answer something wrong I welcome any corrections I may get. Maybe my post with the links will give the OP enough info to help him, so that his next set of threads will be more involved. That is the goal here.

The good thing about this site is that everyone really wants to help properly educate new snake owners. We all want to help the reptile community grow :gj:

Definitely check out that NERD site that Foschi posted. It is a great site and will help you learn a little more about morphs and which combos make which snakes etc..that is where I learned a bunch and still visit the site for reference

Believe it or not, this is probably the friendliest forum there is for reptile keepers. Its just that some people do not understand that constructive critisizm is far more affective than blatent name calling. Or assuming things like age or that they live with their parents based on their threads. The biggest issue is simply being new to the forums. Go to the introduce yourself section in the off topic section. Tell us a little about yourself and your reptiles. That always helps to break the tension.

You get to work with cats?

Are they big cats, or smaller ones? I think that is just about the coolest thing there is. I have 6 pet cats, but of course that's not the same thing.

The closest I've ever come to a big cat outside of a zoo was I got to pet and photograph a couple of mountain lion cubs once. They had the bluest eyes!

Welcome to the forum by the way.

    You can't delete your account.

Is there a particular reason you wanted it deleted? Or do you just want a different name? You're allowed one name change, if that's the case.
