patriots
I think the Patriots dynasty is officially over they are on the decline big time. Brady did not have a good year at all and they have no defense to speak of. What do you guys think?
-
Re: patriots
I really hope they are. Could never stand them.
-
Re: patriots
I'm wondering how much of their cheating contributed to the dynasty. We'll see if Brady can bounce back next year. An upper echelon star quarterback will keep a team in contention regardless of who he has around him.

Re: patriots
Brady had broken or cracked ribs and coming off that knee injury he seemed rusty all year. I'm not a patriots fan but I think the pats are still dangerous next year.

Re: patriots
I think Kansas City Chiefs are the new Partiots?!

Ha.....Ha..... :)
I am excited. Putting all the "Patsification of the Chiefs" talk aside...the hiring of Weis and Crennel is an upgrade over what we previously had.
NOW...returning to the Patsification talk, the last time Crennel, Weis, and Pioli were together, they won 3 superbowls. :) Yeah you can talk all you want about Brady and Bellicheck, but how many rings have they won since Pioli, Crennel, and Weis left....0. :)
Looking forward to next season...

Or so we hope. It's bad, that i'm from Louisiana and I can't stand the Saints, never could, and I never seen anybody really sticking with the Saints through the rough years, the after they made it to the NFC Championship game, some poeple started sporting them, then they did bad, and it went away, now everything is: "WHO DAT?", "WHO DAT NATION?"... I think WHO DAT is retarded, and it's even worse because all these idiots jumped on the band wagon. I predtict, Vikings win 24-10. Look at the time i'm posting this too. I hope the Saints don't win just so I can throw it in peoples faces, I may even go get me a Vikings jersey to sport around to really see who I can tick off.

Re: patriots
WHO DAT?
I remember the SAINTS kickin their butts!

Ok i gotta step in on this one, I think you are bit pre-emptive on the dynasty is over talk, just a quick recap of what happend to the PATs this year, we lost 7 veteran defensive players this year, before the start of the season, 6 of which were multiple pro bowlers, however they were replaced with very good rookies to decent multi year players(in the belichick system) Tom Brady is coming off of a major knee surgery, so i'll admit that he wasn't the Brady most people expected, on top of that he played over half the season with 3 broken ribs, a broken index finger on his throwing hand, and also a right shoulder injury, so overall not too bad considering. Randy Moss has a broken shoulder as well since week 5. so i think with a few adjustments to the Defense, (mostly the pass rushing), i think the Pats will still be in the top 4 by the end of next year, besides if the JETS can make it all the way to the AFC championship, that just means ANYBODY can make a run for a superbowl, except maybe, the Detroit Lions(no offense to the Lions fans) or the Oakland raiders,(Al Davis is a tool again not the fans fault, they are probably the most diehard fans in the nfl, next to us Pats fans anyway!!:). But I think that barring any major injuries again the pats will be right where they left off in '07 Woohoo!! Go Pats:) As far as the Super bowl this year, i'm rooting for the Saints!! It's gonna be a Real good game to watch...it could turn out to be one of the best superbowls in history. No question that both teams deserve to be there this year.
Sorry for being long winded, i'm a die Hard Patriots fan and i have to be honest that i Love my Football team Almost as much as i love my wife.....but don't tell her that.

I have to respectfully disagree the division is getting better the Jets will be better so will the dolphins if they get some receivers, so while others are getting better you guys are getting older, nothing last forever look at the last three dynastys 49ers, cowboys and steelers nobody won the big one 4 times with the same core of players history is against them. Plus the NFL is alot more even these days parity is here to stay.
