Re: Price Quote Please
They start at about 500 and go up. You can always get them cheaper as $$ talks.

Theres no set price on any one snake in this industry. The seller makes his own pricing and sells accordingly.

Re: Price Quote Please
When you buy from someone on king snake you need to be very sure they are reputable. It's very easy to get ripped off. You pay for certainty and quality when you deal with a reputable breeder

That pretty much sums it up . You have a fair market price, some charge a little more than fair market price and may or may not have great service, then of course you have some low ballers that just can't wait to get their hands on some fresh money, or you may have breeders selling a bit lower just to move something because they need some space.

Re: Price Quote Please

www.royalconstrictordesigns.com Garrick has 2009 Butter males for $400- and he is a great guy to deal with. Only problem with White Plains show is the time of year. Be very careful transporting anything you buy home in this weather, and hope the sellers did the same getting them there.

Re: Price Quote Please
Size would depend on how many snakes you plan on buying, I've used the cheap styro foam coolers or steralite tubs with lids.

Re: Price Quote Please
I have seen Lessers for as little as $300 from good breeders, all the way up $700-750, and more if its het for something.
Arent Lessers and Butters the same? Doesnt it just depend on who you get it from?

Re: Price Quote Please
I guess I am a weirdo that sees a difference in the butter and lesser arguement... I prefer butter 300-400 is fair for a nice butter anything extra better be particulary nice or het for somethin

Re: Price Quote Please
got a butter at the timmoium( spellnig ) show in MD I paid like 700 or soemthing for him and a pinstripe. I had to have the one shipped due to the fact part of the money was in paypal cause I was purchasing a snake off a guy online but it fell though the night before the show. What I had to pay to get shippign I might been able to get a female pinstripe instead lol .
not plannnig on buying any snakes until I find out what the delaware regulations people figure out their crap, they changed a good system and screwed it all up instead of just making the permit renewable and restricting the larger breed snakes. I know they just getting greedy but they didn't think it out enough . Now I and a bunch of others are floating in limbo caus we house mutli snake and by there own wording can't breed with beign acredited zoo ( permit) but the news paper art stated that they don't want ot exclude bp breeding since they are consider harmless..
I can come up with a better reptile code than they did. in it be like 1/8 the time.

Re: Price Quote Please
Be careful using heat pacs some will heat very fast to very hot temps. If you use one keep checking it and don't let it come into direct contact with your snake.

Re: Price Quote Please
I've always purchased snakes from one person
or had multiple snakes come in one at a time from the same person.
I've never bought multiple snakes from a reptile show, it doesn't seem like a safe practice?
How does one quarantine them from each other?
What if one snake from the show is sick and you transport them home together with others bought at the show from different sellers,
the others might also end up sick?
Just curious

Thats why you inspect the snake form the show BEFORE you buy it. Snakes dont just get sick as soon as you pay and go home. They will show signs of it while at show. In turn you should avoid such animals and let the seller know.
