It wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't from Whale Wars. They are some of the most unorganzied people on one boat I have ever seen. :rolleye2:

That was a really nice boat.:O

That boat that hit the "batman boat" was owned and financially supported by Bob Barker. ?? Just an interesting thing I heard.

I think that Bob Barker is helping financially with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society(the anti-whaling people). I recall seeing something about how the main guy with the Sea Shepherd went to Bob Barker, and said they could stop whaling for $5million. I think the boat that hit the "batman boat" was a associated with the Japanese whaling fleet.

That "batman boat" cost about $2million :O

That's bad. Not to mention the wasted money making that boat look like that, but why would you even get close enough like that to a bigger boat, with the purposes you intend. Not saying I don't support them, but. Nevermind.

They ran their $2mil boat in front of a underway whaling vessel and got hit, and then they wail they they were subjected to violance from the whaler.
Sorry, laws of the high seas, the whaler has right of way first, and right of tonnage second. Run in front of a semitruck and then cry it hit you.

Bunch of stupid posers from PETA looking for more attention and bilking Bob Barker in the process.

I don't think I accept the innocence of the Japanese whaler, in light of the fact that they continued to hose down the boat with a high pressure hose after they hit it.

I'm torn on the whole issue--I tend agree that what Japan is doing is breaking International law. The individual whalers involved are just trying to make a buck, though. I think the solution has to be at the top in this case, not at the bottom. Getting in the way of the whaling boats isn't going to stop what Japan is doing.

But you've got to admit, the crew on Whale Wars act like the Keystone Cops many times. They are their own worst enemy many times. I don't know if this is done in the editing room or they really were who we thought they were.:rolleye2::rolleye2::rolleye2:

The Whale Wars crew cannot be too competant on camera or people would not feel so sorry for them. They don't want to be scary, they want to be the poor underdog so they get even more funds sent to them.
    Stupid PETA morons.

That boat that was hit was the Ady Gil. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle6977316.ece

From the article: The Ady Gil, a unique fibreglass trimaran that holds the world record for the fastest global circumnavigation, was hit by the Shonan Maru II.

It's like taking an F1 car to a demolition derby. It's sad that such a fine boat is in the hands of complete morons.

A complete publicity stunt for ratings. Got to get people interested for the new season premiere. Something tells me they will show that footage all seaon long and put it in the final episode. If you haven't figured it out yet, the reason those boats collided is because there are 200,000 burms loose in the Everglades. This causes a disturbance in the Earth's magnetic field, which messes up ships compasses and causes them to collide on the other side of the world...

You forgot the homeless puppies... the whalers make all the puppies of the world be homeless, which is why PETA has to kill them all.
