Largest picture in the world

26 Gigapixels. It took 3 hours to take the picture and 94 hours to process the image. I'm sure my kids will be taking pictures like these from a Walmart camera within a few years. :P

that picture is pretty crazy....... unfortunately my old school pc cant handle its awesomeness lol

WOW! I zoomed in and could read the name of the satelite dish on top of a trailer, behind a carnival far off into the distance! Thats incredible!

If you zoom in on the white building just in front of the sky cranes, you can see people in their offices. I feel like a peeping tom...:rofl:

That is pretty cool. Just remember that it's not one photo. It's 100's of them spliced together to make on big one. That is what a panarama is afterall. And what an amzingly detailed panarama it is. :)

You can actually do this yourself with a robotic system for about $300. This thing has been around for a while, but of course the pictures are getting better, bigger and more detailed every year with higher resolution cameras.

That's only because the guy on the other side of town was natoriously late to mass. So, the church decided to set the clock back on his side of town so wouldn't interupt the services anymore.
