This Site May Implode 1-12-10
It's a very distinct possibility, not a surety, but it could.
On that day a thing will happen that hasn't happened in years.
I'm not sure what will happen, but I must admit to more than just a casual curiosity.
Though not as rare as a Blue Moon, it's still pretty unusual.
Hope to see you all on the 13th.

Re: This Site May Implode 1-12-10
we actually just had a blue moon:P

No seriously, I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you which you would not doubt blame on some govt. coverup an where would that lead us?
Wondering about Old Indian Men?
Sheesh.

I just did a lot of research on the internet. Wes might be right, maybe... I'm sure the mods will deny it but there are probably lots and lots of youtube videos that will prove that this is no laughing matter...

Just think of it from a numerologists point of view... the number sequence of the date is 01122010 <--- see that??? That is a very unique sequence for a date and is a once in a lifetime event. We'll never see that particular sequence in a date ever again... Makes you think, doesn't it?

Yeah, that's it......NOT.
It's creepin up. It could be the end of life here as we know it.
I don't know if I am able to carry that burden, should it be necessary that I be the one, which I in no way wish, but, as always, those sisters three don't much worry over what my wishes may be.

Well, you gotta admit, that's a pretty unique number sequence for a date, the likes of which we'll never see again....
So tell us oh great oracle of the WESt, what is the earth shattering significance of this date? We're all a quiver with anticipation.

Quiver on my upstanding compadre, I can't tell.
If I did, we'd have to kill Mike C, which he would then blame on a government conspiracy, leading to new threads, and, most importantly, he would then NEVER hear the Old Indian Man story.
You wouldn't want to do that to Mike, would you?

Re: This Site May Implode 1-12-10
eh?
Now I am at a disadvantage owing to the fact we write the date differently over here so can never be sure I have it right in the first place.
So is this the december Maya thing or a January dance with the fates I am unprepared for?
Are you, perchance, turning 21 again?
If you aren't I reserve Clotho for the first dance as is traditional.

Is the the one who weaves? I can never keep them straight. Watch out for those shears though, suckers be sharp.

Re: This Site May Implode 1-12-10
I had to go look it up again myself to make sure. :)
Clotho spins the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle.
Lachesis measures the thread of life with her rod.
Athropos cuts the thread of life and chooses the manner of a person's death.

Not sure if any of you have thought of this, but I like really how jumping pitvipers are in the genus Atropoides and bushmasters are in Lachesis.

01122110 would be more unique, but you wont see that one either.

You are absolutely right - I fumble fingered the name of the cutter.
And it was mentioned only as the concept of fate was brought up - a side point if that.

LOL
But, if a guy doesn't know binary from squat, yours truly being the guy, would that have any bearing on future possibilities becoming realities?
Do I hear a new spool of thread being brought out?

Umpossable....this whole thread, while of vital importance and significant in every way to every one, whether they read it, know it or are blatantly ignorant of it, is much akin to troll food.
Of course, on can be muck akin to a thing and still not be a thing, which is a heavy indicator that this is, in fact, not troll food, but as an indicator, does not dictate that it must be so.
So, what were we talking about again?

Ooooh, golly gee. Come on now, please tell me what's going to happen on January 12, 2010. I can't stand it any longer, I need to know. Why can't you tell me? Don't you like me? Why, oh why! It's not fair for you to post this message and lead us all along without telling us. You're a bad person. Why, oh why, can't you tell me? What did I ever do to you?
If you don't tell me, I'm going to hold my breath until I die. I'm going to jump off of the Empire State Building, I'll jump off of the Golden Gate Bridge, I'l do it, you know I will. :rage::taz:
Look, as long as I've known you, have I ever told you a lie? You know me, I can keep a secret. You know that I've got the proof on the Kennedy brothers and Marlyn Monroe. I tell you my secret if you tell me yours. :gj:
Oh Come Ooooooooonnnnnnnn. PLEASE.
Oh, forget it, I don't want to know.:colbert:

PS Please don't take this serious.

Re: This Site May Implode 1-12-10
From USARK:
"S373 aka ‘The Python Ban’ has been amended to include the 9 great constrictors referenced in the recent report released by the US Geological Survey entitled Giant Constrictors: Biological and Management Profiles and an Establishment Risk Assessment for Nine Large Species of Pythons, Anacondas, and the Boa Constrictor. If passed as written S373 would add all 9 snakes to the Injurious Wildlife list of the Lacey Act making it a felony to engage in the import, export and interstate transport of any of these animals.
This possibility is unacceptable to USARK and the Reptile Nation. We are encouraging everyone with an interest in S373 to click on www.Kill-S373.com and participate in the USARK Kill S373 Letter Campaign. There you will find step by step instructions, a sample letter, contact information and even an instructional video to help you write your US Senators an effective letter opposing S373. We have learned that written letters are one of the most effective ways to lobby Congress. Sending an email is NOT enough! Write your letters. Get your friends and family involved writing letters too.
USARK spearheaded a similar letter writing campaign last spring. The Reptile Nation generated 50,000 letters opposing HR669. The bill was crushed. Time to do it again! Spread the web address www.Kill-S373.com all over the internet. Put it on your facebook page. Put it on your MySpace page. Twitter it. Post it on every forum or social networking site that you frequent. Email it to everyone you know! www.Kill-S373.com will take you straight to the resources you need to do your letters. We have made it as easy as it can possibly be, but it will require some effort. January 12th is our deadline. We don’t have much time. Do it today!
If you are an Industry Leader You Must Make an APPOINTMENT to MEET With Your Senators!! If you care about your business you will do this!!!

A mere coincidence.
The above is VERY important, not the stuff of threads meant for humor.
I don't want anyone to think I'm making light of that.
But it ain't got squat to do with what may happen HERE, bp.net, on 1.12.10.
It may not happen. It's already come close to not happening, but so far, it still looks more likely than not.
Now, I got to go sharpen my Mermaid Pie Seeking Device and see if I can't spear me, er I mean, find me something good.

Yeah, well, this post was made a couple of days ago and sort of seems to cover the whole S373 thing.
