    New year, new snake!
First off... Happy New Year, everyone!

Earlier this evening I went out to Skiploder's house, and came home with a new rack and a new snake... the rack was desperately needed, and the snake was desperately wanted. ;) He's for sure a black pastel, but we think he looks more like a cinnamon - which is totally cool, since I kinda prefer them anyway. He's in shed right now & settling in, but here are a few pictures of the beautiful boy (I'll post more after his shed):

    It was you!?

I was talking to him about that boy until I got the message that he was picked up. :( Congratulations! Your pictures are much better than the ones he sent me (No offense Skiploder!), very nice. I do see that red in him that I associate with cinnamons and confuses the heck out of me regarding cinnamons and black pastels.

    You lucky duck!

LOL... sorry, beat'cha to it. :D:P He is a beauty in person, and I definitely would confuse him for a cinnamon - can't wait to see how he looks post-shed!

Black pastels are awesome, one of those morphs that seem under appreciated I am hoping to hatch out some superblacks in 2011

Oh he's gorgeous! Congrats! :gj: He has a fantastic mixture of the best qualities in both the black pastel and cinny! One of the nicest black pastels IMO!

Thanks all! I think he's stunning, and very sweet as well... when I first put him into the tub, he popped back out and rested his head on my arm. :) He's still in shed, so I'll have to take more pics when he's done (hopefully this weekend).

P.S. I decided to keep the name Skiploder's kids chose for him - Dave. :D

Oh, but the only problem is that I've got a "sausage fest" going on now... especially since one of my females is het albino, and therefore won't be bred with anyone but the male het. Time for some more girls!! ;)

May a 1,000 gods from 1,000 religions cast 1,000 terrible things upon you!

Okay, so it's my fault too. I am maxed out on housing with the four that I have. Here is a picture of my "rack".

Had I been more proactive this rack may be completed already and the outcome may have been different! But preventing myself from having the ability to house 20 new snakes may have been more important...

Maybe it's a good thing you haven't finished that rack... since, as I know from experience, empty racks only lead to buying more snakes. :D:oops:
