    Good guys- themousefactory.com
Ok so i ordered rats from rodent pro because they were about 20-30$ less but the quailty wasnt great... Also they said they would ship 1 day air but they shipped ground because they were only a couple of states away from me and the rats were still frozen so i decided to let them get away with that because im a nice guy:D. But here is a picture of the rats they sent me. Not the cleanest and bulky so they take up ALOT of freezer space.
http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/a...dude1/09-2.jpg bad pic but you can see that they are just "thrown" in there
not that bad untill you see the mousefactory.com
heres a picture i think they gassed them, then groomed them, then positioned them I <3 this company :P

Are they free of any poop?

    Urine?

Any broken limbs or cuts on them?

    How uniform are they sized?

I wouldn't mind switching companies if I found one that met all those requirements.

I deal with those issues since I don't have to pay shipping, I just pick em up at a local show.

They are CLEAN as can be. Never had a single cut or broken limb from them. When thawed the fur is still soft as if it was pre killed fresh that day.

Gonna have to check em out then!

I also hate getting a bag of smalls and getting weaned rats...

    Or vice versa.

Are they good about same sizes in the order and from order to order?

I LOVE the mouse factory....they are excellent. I've never seen such "pretty" feeders before. They are helpful, clean, and very high quality. I don't mind paying more for the excellent service.

Two thumbs up from me (and the snakes!) :gj::snake:

I just ordered a bunch of small rats from RodentPro. I am not going to be ordering from them in the future after seeing that picture of their product. I will be doing business with The Mouse Factory from now on. I would rather pay top dollar for good quality and healthy looking rats that I am going to be feeding to my snake.

    Re: Good guys- themousefactory.com
I ordered 25 rat pups from the mouse factory. Loved the way they came packaged. They were all nice and clean. My complaint is that the size was not consistent. They advertise their pups to be 27g. I understand that there may be a difference of a gram or two either way but what I found was some weighing as little as 17g and a few in their 30s. One was 36g which is a gram bigger than their weaned rats. Now my snake can probably handle one that size especially if I save it for last but 17g is way under what she should be eating. Out of the 25 I weighed there were 3 at 17g 2 or 3 at 19g and 2 at 20g. So basically 8 out of 25 pups were actually fuzzies. They advertise the fuzzies to be 19g. I have emailed them. Don't know what I expect but at least they are aware of the inconsistency. Won't stop me from ordering from them again though.

Well, I got my order of small rats from RodnetPro and some of the rats are missing limbs. I will definitely not be ordering from them in the future. It will be The Mouse Factory from now on.

Coming into this thread a little late, but just wanted to say how extremely helpful it's been. I'm about to place my very first online order, not knowing one from another. Missing limbs? That's all I need to hear! Good quality + Less freezer space = Mouse Factory. Thanks, all!
