I suspect GMO soy or corn can cause all kinds of problems with breeding rats or mice.

Thats your reason right there, although thats extremely cheap, you can still get a 50 lb back of horse feed for $18 or so and its proven to be good for breeding rats.

    lab block $17-25/50 lbs
    hog feed $12/50 lbs.

    I use 33/33/34% lab block/hog feed/ seed mix.

there is a breeder down close by u that can get harland. his name is david lee and he has been breeding rats for about 15 years+ and u can also buy aspen from him as well. his number is 602-740-5448. the harland is a bit more exspensive but its top of the line, i just can only get masuri 6f up here in camp verde.

Whether anyone else is having a problem or not. YOU need to do something if you're rats are loosing weight and dying. Change their food or add someithing to it asap.

I use a 33%/33%/33% mixuture of lab block (mazuri)/ dog food / hog feed.

Just get your rats healthy, figure out why it's only you later.
