Julius the Mojave shed this week, and is about to hit 500g (489g). Not bad for a 5 month-old, huh?? :gj: He's looking so pretty, I had to take some photos... hope you're all having a nice holiday/vacation/etc!

Did you name name him Julius because he has a "J"? Cool marking.

Yep - and it goes along with my Shakespeare theme (all BPs except Delilah have a Shakespearean name). I had originally named him Pedro, but couldn't stop focusing on the "J" marking, so I changed it to Julius. :oops:

I noticed you were in the Bay Area and checked out your profile and found the answer to the "J" thing, but you responded here before I was done. Small world sometimes.

The Pedro thing reminds me of The Hangover and Carlos. Haha!

Thanks all! :) I love how his colors are turning out, and can't wait to see what he produces in the future... I've actually already introduced him to Mona, but can't confirm a lock yet.

Have to ask - what's your first favorite? ;)

my favorite morph is the pied. in close second is the mojo. its very close to being my fav. hopefully i can find a jigsaw male to breed to my normal girl and make my second and third favorite morphs. third being the pinstripe

I just looked up the jigsaw, since I'd never heard of those before - way cool!! :gj:

I really love the mojave morph, especially what it does in combos... definitely one of my favorites, but I need a lesser and orange ghost to fulfill my wish list. ;)
