Re: anyone else love people of walmart?
This thread is very condenscending.
If you went into a reptile store that had a 1,000 different reptiles and found ones that were "different", you'd be excited. If a person dresses different than everyone else, you should applaud their courage.
It's hard not fitting in and to do it on purpose takes a strength that not many have.

Re: anyone else love people of walmart?
Nothing shocks me anymore at walmart:D
-
Re: anyone else love people of walmart?
I did see an Elvis impersonator while I was working at wally world on my birthday a few years ago.....other than that, I guess nothing really shocks me all that much. Yes, there are a few times where I would like for there to be some kind censorship involved in real life, like blurred spots that appear (mostly when butt cracks are concerned), but to each their own.

While I agree to disagree with you on most things.....I still love you... I think someday we should have some wine and sit down for a 2-3 day debate.
While I applaud those who are cutting edge....I DONT think it takes courage to be 500 pounds with your bootey crack showing...no underwear and the shortest skirt you can find with a bra top. Maybe that is just me though.

Re: anyone else love people of walmart?
I love people of Walmart site. And thanks to whoever posted the other links, I just lost another hour of my life!!;)

Re: anyone else love people of walmart?
reptile shows are another great place to people watch!
but people choose to dress that way, therefore they choose to standout and they are expecting to get attention.
that is what it's all about...well maybe not the morbidly obese folks, but the ones that dress like circus clowns and pimps.

Re: anyone else love people of walmart?
The people that are dressing to stand out, that I can understand because my BF tends to do that, and he does get alot of stares. Nothing as drastic as most of the people on there, but he'll wear ripped pants out, with safety pins in them to keep them together. He won't let me stitch them up. He actually gets a fair amount of comments on the pants because they're so old and unique, you can't find them anymore.
But... The people that are obese and are wearing their 5 y/o clothes. I'm sorry, but how could you look in the mirror looking like that and say "Yeah, ok lets go out in public!" At least when I was fat I covered myself up... lol.
BTW, another great site is www.itmademyday.com I can be on there for hours laughing my butt off!

Re: anyone else love people of walmart?

A debate for 2-3 days? I don't think we'd even cover one topic! Hah!
I also think fat people are a separate subject from the creatively dressed but I didn't want to offend anyone here by saying so. I'm sure they don't want my pitty but I feel sorry for them and in most cases I don't think it's funny. What you're describing is meal-retastingly gross. Cover it up people!
I say fat people on purpose, even though it may sound worse, because obesity is subjective. If I type my height and weight into any BMI calculator it will tell me I'm severly obese. Three years ago it would have said morbidly obese and my weight hasn't changed. The fact that this "system" would even categorize me with fat people is laughable.
