Yes, but you'll over pay for it at PetSmart. If you can find a Purina dealer near you (try your local feed and tack store) who can order it in, that would be the way to go. I pay $18 for 50 pounds, instead of $7 for 2 pounds.

Yup. Many breeders use it exclusively, my rats see some trimmings from the kitchen periodically (celery tops, carrot peels, etc), but otherwise subsist on the Mazuri 6f.

Yes, you can use it exclusively. I'd suggest using the Mazuri website's dealer locator to find a place near you that can order it in for you in the big bags.

Also look into Kent Feeds as well. I switched from Mazuri to kent and seen no production loss form the change.

Costs 12$ per 40lbs bag of Kent

ya we have kent all over around here. but i cant seem to find anyone to get me lab block of any brand. all the ass bag managers freek when I ask for rat food. the only thing i can get is the stupid $7 per 2lb. bag from the pet store. even the ones that carry Mazuri say they cant order the big bags for me. Im going to Tractor Supply tomorrow They told me they just switch over to Purina and if I get them like the bag # or what ever they can get it. so i went to there web site and printed of the page for the 6f. we will see. no one else seems to want to help out other wise. so for now i'm sticking to dog food and hog feed, 50/50 mix.

    thanks eric
