I'm in love, but she'll be gone soon
After seeing some really nice Cinnamon pics lately, I went looking, just for fun, at breeders' sites, looking at all sorts of different morphs. I love Cinnamons and absolutely have fallen in love with a cinnamon on one breeder's site. She is $300 and gorgeous! I don't have the money for her right now as we are saving up to move, but as soon as we are settled my husband has given me the go ahead to get another snake. That's sometime this spring, and I'm pretty sure she will be gone by then.

So do any of you have a snake you are drooling over right now but can't get?

If you already have a male cinny why not get a black pastel, the outcome is the same looking snake.

My dream is this beautiful Argentine Boa that the breeder affectionately named 'Slug.' She is about 30+ lbs and is a gorgeous, fatty, female sweetheart. I want her sooooo bad it makes my heart sick. $400....and I need a cage, she is 7 + feet....#$%$@%$%#$

    I'm in love....

I want an Ivory! :taz: Since you're resigned to the fact that you will lose this snake to another, why not post a link so we can drool with you? I promise I won't steal her away from you...

I know that Tim has a really hot female that was a clutchmate of my male's, but I think he's got someone talking to him about her right now. If I didn't already know that, it probably wouldn't too far reaching to say I'd think about getting her too!

I'm not letting myself fall in love with any particular indidvidual snakes right now, but I know in the future I would like to have a pair of pied ball pythons and a tessera corn snake. Unfortunately for now, though, I have to prioritize getting some medical bills paid off, as well as replacing my car that got totaled by a hit and run driver.

Yep! Fourth one down. After seeing your boy I just had to go look at his other cinnamons and fell in love with this girl. If the payment plans could be any longer, I'd go for it! But I just can't pay $300 in one month, not so close to moving in February. I love her though. I've seen so many cinnamons that look just like normals, but this girl just has that color to her that makes me have to wipe the drool off my keyboard. I almost said to myself "Screw everyone's Christmas presents this year, I'm getting that cinnamon." but then thought better of it. Who knows, maybe I'll get lots of Christmas money this year. :)

I was in love with some snakes from Tim as well... It was a poss. het hypo girl and a 100% het hypo male. If it came around for the NARBC and he still had them I was going to break down and buy them, but last time I went to his page to drool over them, they girls are all on hold! =/ Congrats to someone, but I was bummed :P

Oh yes, bees are wonderful, but I hope to produce my own next season. My friend has a female spider she's going to loan to me. :)

I keep checking Tim Bailey's site to see if that little cinnamon girl is still available. As of this morning she is still up there. I've got $300 in my wallet right now but I need that for Christmas presents (yea, I'm one heck of a last minute shopper)

Goodness, she's gorgeous! And I've been wanting a cinnamon female. But that male right under her is lovely, too. Aaah!!! Why are there so many beautiful snakes out there?! It makes me crazy! :rolleye2:

Hope everyone gets their dream snakes! :)

I know that boy is stunning too. It would be so awesome if I could get the money together for her really fast, but Robin said there was someone already interested in her, and I don't want a male.

Patternless? I don't think I've seen those yet. I love love love lavender albinos. How expensive are a pair of hets, these days?

Re: I'm in love, but she'll be gone soon
    She is really pretty!

I feel your pain, every once in a great while I will fall in love with a snake that I just don't have the money for. Recently it was an 09 female pied with the brightest colored saddles I've seen, it was really depressing to see her sold.

When I have the money, I know I'll find the perfect female pied :)
( I want to eventually produce pastel pieds :D )

Re: I'm in love, but she'll be gone soon
I want to produce everything in a pied form. Hahaha. So my first step is to get a het pied female this season to hopefully make a pied in a year or two. Pieds are my favorite, but yea, like you, every now and then I just find a snake that I'm in love with and check on it every day until I see it sold. This cinnamon has my attention right now. Tomorrow is Christmas. Who knows, maybe I might get enough in Christmas money to get a snake. Probably not her, because she is just too darn beautiful to last long on the market, but maybe I can get my female het pied soon.

Oh I know, Pieds are just awesome animals! :D

I could afford to get a female het pied but I'd rather save up for a visual to avoid dealing with poss. hets and (hopefully) speed up the project lol

Oi... there are so many great snakes out there

I would love to get a male pied, but they are around $1000 right now and I just don't have that kind of money. Maybe once I start breeding and actually selling snakes I can save up enough to start buying some cool animals.

Have you talked to the breeder to see if he will accept a down payment to hold her?

There is already someone talking to him about her and according to the payment plan terms you have to pay off the remaining balance within 30 days. I just can't pay $300 in 30 days. Not right now anyway.
