Is it just me..

or has anyone else been getting shocked a lot lately? I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that its winter, but its getting really annoying lol! Everything i touch i get shocked!! :slamhead:

lol im carrying a key around my whole house so i dont get shocked lol... it helps..

lol...live in AZ...happens all the time. Ok...get a humidifier...vacuum really well, change your air filters and dust (don't use a feather duster..ewww). It will help!

I'm the guy who drags his feet on carpet to shock people. And if you do it in the dark you can see the lightning bolt being cast out by your finger, so cool.

I get shocked like crazy all year round. I haven't noticed anything different lately though. My BF's sister thinks I'm some sort of super electricity human.

I get shocked by fruit and veggies. Banana, oranges, broccoli... Every single time the broccoli gets me. Going to the grocery store is a PAIN cuz of the cart. I started carrying baskets.

And yes, I could pick up my feet a little more, but they don't drag too much... The rocks just jump out.

I touched my laptop today, and I swear drained the battery for the shock I got from it.

Definately; I can relate! My hair gets staticky.. I touch anything/one.. ZAP!

I get a slight shock when I am coming up the stairs and when I touch the cart at the grocery store. Very annoying!

It's because cold air can't hold as much humidity as warm air.

Here's a great tip given to me by my computer guy. Put a few drops of fabric softener in a spray bottle filled with water and mist your carpet, chair, car seats, etc... No more shocks! It works great.
