That girl was my favorite the moment I got her. I think she is the prize of my collection and Im so happy that she is holding her color so well. I cant wait to see what I can produce with her in the future :D
Im sure she is tired of me handling her by now because I give her more attention than any of the other balls lol!

Get a Pastel or a Fire with that Calico. Or if you feel like investing some money in a strong new morph look into a Desert, they are making everything POP! That Lucy is sweet also.

I have no clue what to put to the Calico. I think pastel is a little too common. I do want a desert or a Champagne. Imagine a champagne calico!!!
My dream christmas present would be one of each :D

i love that calico you should breed it to a spider. i just watched a video from ralph davis you tube page they called it a calider that thing is outrages.

Yeah I saw that one too. The possibilities are endless with those. Ralph is the original creater of the bubblegum line calicos. When I purchased mine I was shown my females clutch mate which was so flaming neon orange he looked unreal & was sold for almost twice what I paid for mine. So whatever I put this girl to it has to be something colorful because she has the genes to create some very WOW animals.
That decision is gonna drive me nuts :rolleye2:
Im still thinking a Champagne would make something amazing with a BG Calico. Visualizing a black backed snake (only dark champagne instead of black) with high champagne pink sides and pink/orange flames?

I thought Ralph said his "bubble gum" died before he was able to breed it? Maybe I am just remembering wrong, but I thought he said it died of a RI that he did not notice.

Well heres the back story. The BG calico's are from a hidden gene. I dont know what happened to the original one Ralph had. I should email him to find that out.
This female that I have Was produced by Chris at bareptiles. Her brother was amazingly orange and pink.
This line originated from a CH normal female from a gravid import years ago. This female is owned by Mike Cole at Ballroom reptiles. She was put to a regular run of the mill Calico. Basically the ones that look like high white sided normals.
The result was these crazy colorful BG Calicos. He has not gotten this result with any other female so there is some hidden gene there that is combining with the Calico to produce these. So far no one knows how to produce these. Even the ones Ralph had were a fluke and were never figured out.
Now Im going to be working with Chris on this female to see what we can get by putting her to different things. He believes I should put a pastave or a killer bee to her. Something with high white sides and alot of color to bring it out more in the offspring.
Here are her baby pictures so you can see how bright she was and how much of that color she retained.. The pink turned white but she is holding all the other color so far. Plus the ringer is getting bigger and brighter.
