    Which Enchi?
    Hi everyone,

I'd like to get your opinions on these two adult enchi males. Both are awesome in my opinion, but I can't decide which one is better. I prefer to have both, but realistically ($$-wise) I will probably end up having one of them.

Let me know which one you think is better and why (color, pattern, etc)?

The females I plan on putting him with are pastels, mojaves, and lessers.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Not exactly an expert on enchis.

If I had to choose between those two I would pick the one on the left.

It looks to have better banding and better colour - but that said people keep assuring me they are really hard to capture accurately on film.

I'd say go for the one on the left as it looks to have better colors. The one of the right looks a bit poor in photo quality in comparison...

Left. I prefer the deeper golden reds. The reduced banded pattern.

The one on the left is great looking as a representative of the morph.

My reasoning: Enchi is supposed to add color, and patterning.

I say left too. I love the reduced pattern.

I like the one on the right. It reminds me of s'mores or hot chocolate.
I know nothing about breeding so I'm going by looks only =D

I went with the guy on the right. I think that the quality of the photographs may come into play here. Both are pretty good examples of an enchi...

For some reason the one on the left seems like one I would pick for myself ;)

I'd take the one on the right due to his body. He seems to be in great shape while the other one could use some food.

You can clearly see that both of them are Enchis so at least you won't
get hustled like some people has been before.

    Good luck with the choice.

Hard to tell with different backgrounds and stuff....but if the left pic is a good example of appearance i love the gold color....looking good:)

One on left has a nice contrasted color and good banding.

But if you like buttery colors, the one on the right is also very nice.

Might be the picture quality BUT I prefer the one on the right, seems much paler and a nicer pattern. :)

They are so similar it's hard to choose! But I went with the one the right. His patter is just a hint more reduced.

I'd bet $20 they're almost identical in color...the picture on the right is blown out from the flash. The one on the left makes the colors look deeper/darker because the white background is making the camera compensate.

I think either one is nice...and I assume both are proven, so I'd probably base my decision on who's selling them and how well I trust them or their animals.

About half of all adult snakes I've bought have come with some sort of baggage...be it mites, funny feeding preferences, etc. I bought a male pastel for $800 one time and it turned out to have a malformed hemipene and couldn't or wouldn't even breed...unfortunately, I probed the snake when I got it, so I had no idea until he was an adult. Wasted four female adults trying him that year, so I ended up selling him as a $100 pet. Talk about a pisser. :(

The left one is rich in colour, the right one looks like it would make a fire even more stunning. I voted for the left one, however:

If your goal is to breed to light snakes: Right
If your goal is for breeding with rich/dark snakes: Left

    Re: Which Enchi?
I like the color of the guy on the left, but truth is, that's not a very good pic of the enchi on the right. Pattern-wise, he's a nice enchi too, but the lighting isn't doing his color any favors.
