holy crap, you deserve an award, after i went back and read over mine i thought of putting in gold between some of the bands to see if anybody noticed it

My top ten would be
The Faceless, Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder, Suicide Silence, Necrophagist, Cynic, As I lay Dying, The Agonist and Veil of Maya.

Some non metal bands I listen to are Tool, A perfect Circle, Thrice,The Mars Volta and Klaxons. Also like me some Trance music, yo!

i can go on and on granted i think some of those bands can be considered death metal or hardcore they still rock

Oh man.. How can any true metal fan EVER list their favorites????

My list would be so long I would run out of the option to scroll. Not to mention the fact that I would forget a LOT and would need to keep coming back to add to it.

Am I the only old school fan on here? Nothing against some of the other bands mentioned but they would not exist if not for some of the ones in my post.
