Also wrote a very professional note to my Senator (Florida) The guy who's pretty much heading the bill, urging him to oppose this bill.

I hope he actually reads it but I'm not getting my hopes up :\

I don't know, it isn't working for me. I registered, and then I log in. However, when I try click oppose on this bill it suddenly "un-logs" me, so I am no longer logged in, and therefore my vote is not effective. Very weird.

Something's sketchy here. Every time I get to the S373 page, it logs me out. When I click "oppose", it wants me to log in, but when I do, it sends me to a different page. I can then run a search for S373, but the moment I click on the link to go to its page, I get logged out again. WTF? Does the HSUS have hackers or something??

Oh, and it doesn't do this for other bills, just this one. Grrrrrrr!

Every time I try to vote, it tells me that I am not logged in, when in fact I am logged in.....hmmmm.

Ok, I gave it a another try. If you click on the second link in follow's post things work much better. I had no problems after I did so.

If you are having problems with being logged out when you click oppose, close the page. Re-open the main page, www.opencongress.org , login in, then go to the S373 page and oppose.

That's what I had to do and it worked.

That does not help us in any way, Snakemaster. In fact, it could do a lot of harm to our cause. Mind your own country's laws--you don't have a means to intervene in ours. If Politicians think that people from other countries are doing what you did, our opinions will be meaningless to them, because they will have no way of knowing how many people like you there are in the numbers. And you bragged about it on a public forum. Great thinking, there.

Is this actually going to be seen by any Representative anyhow?

I do not think i would hurt anyways i used a friend of mine fathers cabin as a address so it would look like i am an american. Besides the government is not going to check each and every e-mail address for citizenship. For all they know i am on vacation in a different country.

Done........I also wrote a hard copy letter to my representative in the senate and will continue to call fax email and write until this item is completely buried and will get ready for the next round of fights as they come up......

How is that possible when it was 414 opposed yesterday?? I know thats what it said. I was having a hard time getting it to accept my opposition and I looked at the number at least 5 times. Every time i refreshed the screen or re-logged in..

I stopped reading this thread. Sorry to make this my first post in a long long time, but this is not right. In fact, this angers me. If you want to voice your opinion about what we as the USA do, you should move here and become a citizen. If you don't want to do that, keep your opinions about government in Canada. Thank you. :salute:

Something if fishy!!!:confused: I noticed that too!:confused: Someone should take screen shots so that we know thats what it said. I would do it but Im not sure how to LOL.
