Lock up

Well, I have the first lock up of the season :D Just a dinker male to a normal female but I am thrilled anyway! He is what alot of people call a harlequin (looks very similar to Jas's Freak) so we will see if it is reproducible or not. I really hope so, I would love to see that pattern/color in some mojaves down the road.

My het red hasn't figured it out yet with his girl, but fingers are crossed. Waiting on my spider to shed and then he will go on his dates with a pastel and a normal. Other than that, I haven't figured out the other several pairs, guess I better start seriously thinking on that...

Hopefully this coming season is better than this last one!

Thanks! BTW, I'm a girl- oh and it's the first of the season but not my very first. I have a whopping amount of experience. I had one whole female lay a clutch for me last season. But yes, it is just as exciting ;)

Classic Jungle. Her parents were both het clowns and her siblings were all clowns. So, she won't pass along the pattern but she is the crown of my collection. I have wanted a classic jungle from the beginning. Hard to find and even harder to get people to part with. I know I won't ever part with her!

what a beauty i would check the one eye it looks kinda sunk in could just be point of view but i would check it out anyways to b on the safe side other then that awesome lookin snake wish i could have one like that

1st great lookin BP, love the color and pattern... 2nd what is a dinker? iv'e seen it on here before and read it in articles but I still have now clue what it is.. thanks in advance

Hmm, how do I describe dinker?? A normal BP that has a strange pattern/color. You breed it out to see if the genetics can be passed along to offspring. That's why we say Dinkers are normals until proven otherwise, not all prove out to be something. Fun to try though and lots of them have turned out to pass along traits.
I probably explained that really badly, maybe someone else can do it better :oops:

Yes, she came from Christy & Fred :D I think I drove them insane asking when/if they were going to sell her.

Ahh, I am soooooooooooo jealous! I saw her when I was over there one day; she is very very very pretty!! Especially in "real life", I had to stare at it for about ten minutes straight, she is insanely nice. Congrats with talking Christy into that one, you should be a lawyer; 'cause you would have had to pry that beauty out of my dead hands if I had her. Good luck this year!!:rolleye2:

I don't think I would have her if she would have fed on her own with them at any point. I guess she went on a strike so she could come home with me ;)
If you're ever in the area, you are more than welcome to come see her. I forget what part of town you live in but I am up near Hoover Dam.

Well, here is to hoping. I have two girls that have locked up multiple times. Both are refusing food and looking lighter while hugging the warm end of the tub. One is refusing to lock up anymore as well :)
