A piebald sooooooo bad. any chance I'll come across one for sale at the reptile expo? How much would it run me?

Chances are good there will be some at the Expo and chances are good they will average between $800- $1200...

I hate to say it....
But at the last show they were 750.
No lies....there are other witnesses...I just hate seeing them so cheap.
And seeing as your down in the 'Wood I personally know that the people selling them at this price, vend every show.

They can be found pretty cheap if you can negotiate well, I know I got my female for 700 and she came with a 100% het.

That's a good deal. A lot depends on the white nowadays, and how hungry the seller is.:D Het males are really cheap now though...... most breeders are just trying to "dump" them.

At the Phx show I saw a couple amazing ones.....$1000 to $1200

At the recent Pasadena show I saw quite a few, I would say the average price I saw was just touch over 1000. But from what others are saying, sounds like you can get one for a fair amount cheaper. Which is nice to hear, as I'm in the market for a pied :)

@ the reptile show in phoenix most pieds were 1000 or more hi whites were 1500... animals at shows are easier negotioated especially if purchasing multiples

The easiest answer is "What the market will bear." Depending on what the dealer needs/wants, can determine what they sell them for. If he's not having a good show and the car payment is due, you can get a better deal at the end of the show. Piebalds may be a llittle difficult to get a great deal, but you may be able to find one if you look long enough. I'd expect to pay about $1000 for one in my area. You're area may be different.
