    Handling
Ok I just want to know how long you guys handle your snakes at one time. Like if you take your snake at to play around with it how long do you keep it out. I have kept mine out as long as like 45 min. Idk if that's bad or not. But when I'm done with him ill put im back in his hot hide to warm him back up.

I dont have a time limit, it just depends on how bored i am or how much i want to play with them. your body heat should keep them heated well enough for the time that you have them out, and it is usually a good idea to put them back in the hot hide, especially during this time of the year

I spend a lot of time with Elizabeth however she loves being out. I keep our house at 77 just with the snakes in mind. Typically we would let it be a bit colder in here but not anymore since we have the snakes.

My bee will be out for about 30 minutes and then tends to pee on me. Its love!!!

Now my new baby I don't keep out for very long as she gets really stressed. She is only about 6 weeks...so we just work on her a little each day.

    On average, about 15-30minutes.

After owning my older BP for some time I can tell when she;s had enough and wants to go back into her enclosure.

That said, I know for a fact that my girl likes being taken out to roam around for a bit.

yeah i said 5-15 min.. just cuzz for a new snake you wouldnt' want to have them out over 15 min.. because it can stress them out... but besides that i don't really have a limit... my normal i can have out for a while!.. but my pastel who is my new girl.. will start getting pissy after 15 min..

It really just depends on their moods when i get them out. Or if they want to explore :)

i got mr. butters out right now. it depends on which of my snakes i have. i usually have him out for a while, but he pissed on my bed the other day so i havent taken him out for a couple days. my little girl hershey loves to be out. i usually wear a sweater with her and she sits in the poket with her head poking out to watch the world. big papa is a little crazy and cant sit still so i only keep him out for a little while or i lose track of him, and princess is kinda a witch with a capital B, she like to try and strangle me, but i love her for that

    Re: Handling
I typically try to allow my BP at least 30 minutes of "play time". I find that if I try to put her back in her cage too soon she gets very annoyed with me, and attempts to hold onto the side of the cage to work against me- she's kind of a big girl so this can get annoying lol.

If I have her out for close to an hour, she happily slithers back into her cage with no protesting.

Typically, I will only handle her if she starts coming out by her own free will once I take the top off her cage. She will often come out headed straight towards me as if to say, "pick me up!!" So cute :)

My older ones I hold till my arms get tired usually around 45 mins to a hour. The young one that I haven't had long he gets 20 minutes or so every couple of days he is still in the reclusive stage and I don't want to stress him to much.

I really wish I could answer this one but we have had our hatchling for a little over two weeks and he has only been out for a short handling session once. While on his week one settling in period, he ate for us on day 3; which we were, of course, very happy about. After he was here a week, hubby took him out and noticed he was starting to pink up for a shed. We fed him the next day and now that he's digested, we're hesitant to take him out again because he's in shed mode. It's starting to feel like I'll never get to hold him. :tears:

i recently just got my snake. its been three weeks and i take her out almost everyday for about 15 mins. i leave her in her tank after feeding for 24-48 hrs. Since we r new to each other i handle her almost every day so we can get used to each other. shes very sweet and an explorer :-) hopefully ill be able to have her out longer after a while.
