    Workout Music
So what do you all put on your Ipod (or other players) to keep you in the mood to workout?

I have started to make some play lists for the gym and was curious as to what keeps you going.

    Eye of the Tiger?!?!?!?

For Cardio, I have a playlist with a bunch of techno and trance.

For weight lifting, it's all metal stuff. Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Zombie, stuff like that...

I overhear alot of peoples music, and most of the time it's techno or hard rock. I've lost my headphones, and don't listen to any right now. But when I get another pair, I'll be listening to Deadmau5, Puscifer, and some Slipknot.

Ladytron! I love this group. Some of their faster-paced songs are great for working out on the treadmill.

You are going to laugh, but......I like to listen to music like barracuda (Heart), and War pigs (black sabbath). I can't leave out I Love Rock n' Roll either I guess heheh. Kind of funny for someone my age, but I guess it keeps me motivated.

    I used to workout

I'd imagine this song would fit the bill at any point in your routine.

Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil, Janus, Cradle of Filth if your just pushin it to the max, lots of good workout stuff out there.

The Prodigy- Fat of the Land always gets me going. Listened to that for years.

A track I would have never thought of but is probably my favorite individual song to run/workout to at the moment is 'Arrival to Earth' by Steve Jablonsky. It is from the Transformers soundtrack. :P

I have two playlists I alternate between.

Cheesy playlist is Eye of the Tiger, Theme from Rocky, etc. A lot of those cheesy "get you pumped up" songs.

Other play list is usually dance/trance/techno. For working out I like more of the vocal pop dance music. Really like David Guetta right now.

Breaking Benjamin - I Will Not Bow / Diary of Jane

Music while working out is for people who lack self motivation and actually depend on outside influences (i.e. music) to acquire their satisfaction of a task they normally are unable to complete (i.e. fitness training) IMO of course...

If you're motivated to workout 24/7, you're a bigger man the Big Gunns(not possible).

BG actually doesn't use any music nowadays. He does think it works great though. BG is just too lazy to carry an Ipod(hate the name with a passion). He misses his Sony Walkman.:D
