Rodent Pro
Anyone ever use them for F/Ts? I was wondering if they have nice mice, and if they can be trusted? i plan on buying a few bags looking for a place to get them right now

Re: Rodent Pro
Rodent pro has thier ups and downs. i stopped ordering from due to the rodents were covered i piss and poop. Also their mice were more prone to exploding when constricted.
I now order from themousefactory.com excellent products and packaged WELL.

Re: Rodent Pro

cant choose price over quality when feeding exotics. Id rather spend the extra $$ for a well cared rodent and packaged properly unlike rodent pros packaging.
Not to mention rodent pros rodent sizes are smaller than they state.

Re: Rodent Pro
I've only ordered from RodentPro twice, and didn't have a problem.

Re: Rodent Pro
Rodent pro is ok however I have been far more impressed with the quality of American Rodent Supply's feeders. http://www.americanrodent.com/welcome.html

I've actually weighed the rodents I've gotten from rodent pro, They've never been smaller then stated. And while the regular prices aren't that much different, the special price does make quite a bit of difference. Especially since I usually have larger orders then just 100 small rats.

Re: Rodent Pro
one more thing, i looked into American rodent supply and love mice prices for large adults but should i feed them to my ball? i have 3 current balls but the other two are feeding well as it is, but for some reason this one will only take fuzzies, and today he took 6 of 7 and last week he took 10 of 10, he takes alot of fuzzies but wont take a single adult like the others, should i buy more anyway and every feeding offer the adults or finish what i have left of fuzzies first? also hairless or not? which is the better choice
I don't plan on using the fuzzies for anything else and the snake is about 8 months old now, pretty thick also my avatar thing is a picture of it a month ago on my leg.
i don't know what to do =p i should also add i have over 150 fuzzies left dont want to waste them

Re: Rodent Pro
Fuzzies are WAY too small. Wait it out, as his age he should have good weight, there for dont feed him till he takes an adult. I never fed a single ball python a fuzzy. I always start at hoppers and move up from there

Re: Rodent Pro
I've used RP since day one.
The only thing I don't like about them are....
Broken limbs
Pee covered rats
Sometimes completely torn off limbs
Slashed bodies sometimes
They must use some kind os machine with sharp edges.
Other than that they have great prices especially when you pick them up from a local show and buy them on sale.
I'm more than open to finding another supplier if I can find consistent good reviews.

Give themousefactory a shot. I switched to them form RP and never looked back. Vaccum sealed on meat trays is the best way to ship them, rather in freezer bags.

Re: Rodent Pro
the breeder i got him from couldn't get him to take anything but fuzzies and pinkies and he went a month without feed last time i tried to use adults, i agree they're too small but they seem like a favorite

U guys make me feel like quack... Peticebox no good or wut???

Re: Rodent Pro
I use Rodent Pro all the time. Love their rats and service is pretty fast.
If your rats are exploding due to constriction dont put them on a heat source to thaw it cooks them and the skin can tear. Thaw them at room temp for a few hours then heat them up for about a min. No exploding rats that way.
