    New 09 Bumblebee female...
This is my last pick up for 09. A beautiful very clean bumblebee female from Daniel Scalf of creativemorphs.com. He was going to hold her back but lucky for me he didn't. I generally like spiders with little to no spots but she was so clean and pretty I could not pass her up!!! She changes my plans for next year as I am definately going to have to pick up a lesser pastel male now. She puts me roughly at 3 years away from trying to produce my own killerbee's, queenbees etc. These are Dan's pics of her (used with his permission). UPS didn't get to my house to drop her off until 5pm, so I took her out of the box took a couple quick pics (which came out horrible) and put her in her QT tub. Thanks for looking :gj:

I agree, Dan is a super cool dude!!! I had NO problems with him!!! And I did see you made that trade with him when I was looking him up. That actually helped me in my descision on buying from him. Not to mention I thought the bee was a hottie-lol

I don't think anyone could guarantee that. The two main things I want to know are: Do you notice cork screwing or wobbling with the one I am about to buy and does the parents have a cork screw or wobble. I do ask more questions with spiders then other balls. His answer to the two questions-no. With the bee I asked what her parents looked like to get a rough idea of what she will look like. Then I ask in the event the one I am buying get's to my house and does cork screw what are my options? His answer-Observe her for a week and if you are not happy return her (I pay shipping) then I will observe her for 3 days and refund your money.
There are two reasons I ask the first two questions:
1.) If I did not ask if the one I am buying spins or cork screws and she got to my house and cork screwed or had a bad wobble then I am out of luck. I should have asked. The breeder could eaisly say: If you would have asked me I would have told you but I didn't think you cared because you never mentioned it. Or something like that.
2.) I ask about my options in case the stress of shipping and a new home makes her cork screw or wobble. I have had this happen to me before. I bought a BEAUTIFUL female spider from Adam Wysocki and asked him if there was any problems with her and he said "No, normal spider". Me and my wife went and met him and his wife and picked her up and when we got home she started cork screwing BADLY. She was not even shipped, we drove to pick her up. Do I think Adam lied to me about her not doing it when he had her? ABSOLUTELY not! But I do think the stress set her off and can set some spiders off. I called and told him about it and he said to observe her for a few days and if she does not get better I will meet you and take her back and give you a new one or refund your money. She did not get any better. So me and my wife met up again with him and his wife and gave her back and got the male spider (who is trying to breed in my other thread) and his hold back pastel female. The new male spider he gave me is PERFECT never had any problems with him what so ever. So I know first hand shipping CAN bring on problems with a spider that the breeder did not have when it was with them.

Any problems with the bumblebee female so far? No
Have I still been talking to Dan and updating him? Yes
Has he still been answering in a timely manner even though he already sold her to me? Yes

I also PM'd you Neil :gj:

Glad to hear it. BG has been in the game too long to guarantee a spider won't spin. Like BG said in his pm to you, it's just not worth the potential forum and boi headaches to guarantee any Spider. It can happen 5 minutes after you sell it, or 5 months later....you just never know with them.

Big Gunns still loves all the combos though.:gj:
