What Are YOU Favorite Species Of Snakes?

I'm just making these fun polls because I'm bored, and it seems interesting. So, I guess vote now? :P

Hey guys forgot to add that tell me why you chose the snakes you did and if you chose OTHER then tell me what other snake you like. I chose other cuz I like pythons in general xD. I chose the snakes I did because I either kept them before or they fascinate me.:D

Crap, I forgot about that. I had a lot more snakes in mind, but the poll only went up to like 40 and I only had 10 minutes to think of the main ones I wanna put on there LOL

LOL nice. Crap how could I forget Dumeril's boas.. I owned a Dumeril's boa LOL.. Hopefully in the future I would get a JCP, those are awesome. The next snake I want is a Borneo Short Tail... wow.. I forgot about those too.. and the Bloods And Sumatrans... where has my mind been >.<

I'm pretty partial to Bci (locale Hog Island), Emerald Tree Boas, Green Tree Pythons, Carpet Pythons, Old World Rat Snakes, and Amazon Tree Boas (you left them out). :P

I really love Normal Ball Pythons. My second favorite is the Angolan Python, I think they are so beatutiful. Pricey though, I might wait a while before aquiring one. I'm still fawning over my new fat girl, Nikki. Fed her for the first time today and she is something else :)

In a BP forum, the highest rank are BP's! *LOL*

I chose corn snakes, ball pythons, red tail boas, and hogg island boas.

i like corn snakes because there just so little and cute when there babies and they have cool morphs.

i chose balls because they have the COOLEST color morphs

i chose RTBs cuz of their huge size and their cool unique personalities

HIBs because they get a medium size bigger than a BP yet smaller than a RTB. my favorite part is that they change color during the day and night which is awsome!

Balls, Angolans, boas, and (wasn't listed) BLOODS!!! :D :D :D

I'll have to say Cobras, as I think they are so majestic and beautiful.

Nothing better then a green anaconda!

I chose:

Corn Snakes - my first snake was a corn snake. She is now 3 years old and I love her to pieces. I really hope to begin breeding corns next season.

King Snakes - my husband's first snake was a king snake. He ended up escaping and he lost interest in snakes after losing his little buddy. I hope to add a king snake to my collection within the next few years.

Milk Snakes - I love black milk snakes and really want one.

Ball Pythons - Duh!

Green Tree Pythons - beautiful snakes and I hope to have one someday. Not sure if I'm interested in breeding these one day, but I definitely want to have one.

Kenyan Sand Boas - cause they are so darn cute!

Had to vote "Other" because you forgot Eastern Indigos! When I was growing up in Florida, my best friend had one that was probably 6 ft and lived on her farm. It would come right up to people if the dog wasn't around. Then I saw some up close at the Pomona show back in January, and fell in love all over again. Once I can build a good habitat for them, I'm going to start in on my Indigo addiction.

I've also got a crazy love for my BPs (of course!), Angolans, Dumerils, and Cay Caulker boas.

Ahhh, if only I had infinite space and money! :please:

I said Retic even though I have many many more BPs. They were always my favorite but I couldnt properly house and handle anythign that got over 6 to 8 ft. So now I have a SD retic, a newly rescued Burm (not sure what I will do with him down the rd) boas and borneos so size is really not an issue anymore.

(Sort of) the same here; I tagged jungle wishing there was an Irian Jaya and/or Bredli option. "Jungle Carpet Python" really ought to have just read "Carpet Python" if there was only going to be one thing listed for Morelia apart from GTP.

This is kind of hard for me...

i love BPs, they have amazing attitude, great morphs, and get the perfect size. i love everything about them.

But i fell in love with anacondas a few years back, the strength, how they feel, they are just complete opposites in so many ways.

and then finally, Retics.
the size, strength, and how they are so aware.

BP's are byfar my fav. and always will be, but god how i love the others too.

I voted:

Cornsnakes: because they're so insanely easy to care for and have colors that literally glow.

Hognose snakes: Because of those adorable faces.

Ball Pythons: duh! lol... and also because of their faces.

Green Tree Pythons: Amazing colors, just love how they look.

Woma Pythons, Hogg Island Boas, Rainbow Boas: all beautiful snakes I'd like to own someday.

Pets
Ball Pythons: My all-time favorite snakes.
Green Tree Pythons: Soooo pretty!
Rainbow Boas: The most beautiful snakes out there.

Non-Pets
Rattlesnakes (Sidewinders are rattlesnakes too): They're just neat. Love the keeled scales and the cute rattling.
Cobras: Favorite venemous snakes of all time (hooded/spectacled cobras are my favs).

(Yes, I realize all these can be pets; I'm meaning ones that I won't have as pets.)

Corns, raised them for years.
Ball pythons, raised them for years.
Dumerils Boa, raised them for year.

I guess I'm a creature of comfort.

I love all the pythons, and ball pythons are way up on my list, my goal is to get a granite burmese python as a baby and raise into the beast nature intended it to be! I mean who can't resist their patterns? So I voted burms, but I still love my bps.

I voted Ball Python for many reasons:

1. I don't like polls that let you vote for more than one thing because that over-emphasizes the opinions of those that can't decide on one.

2. It is my first snake to own.

3. I think the head of a ball python is the most beautiful head shape of all snakes, I don't care what the colors are when it comes to this preference.

4. No matter what situation I've tried to handle my ball python, he's never looked like or attempted to bite me.

Kings and Milks for me!

What an impossible choice! ;_; I ended up going with boas because I've always loved their head shape and markings, but I'm just as in love with pythons and colubrids too! It'd probably be easier if it was broken down into categories!

Bloods, short-tails, Fea's vipers, bar-neck scrubs, womas.:gj:

I voted Corns, Milks, Kings, Rats, Gophers.

If I had to pick one it would be Corns. They are so docile, and the Okeetee is my favorite. It is hard to beat a Milk for beauty, though.

I voted for BPs (just cause I looove their faces and so much variety with the morphs) and also for RTBs (cause I can't believe how much personality my girl has). I've owned colubrids in the past and they are cool, but I'm just loving these bigger 'kids'. So I voted for the ones I currently own. ...gee... wonder why.... :P

All time favorite species is the Dragon snake (tubercle snake).

Then sunbeam snakes..

Ring neck snakes..

None of those can survive long term in captivity tho so I'd never own one.

Eyelash Vipers.

Indigo snakes.

Anthill pythons.

Sand boa's.

Those are all my favorites.
