Some Updated Pictures and a New Addition

Ed (Freakie_frog) was kind enough to take some pictures this weekend using his light box of my Skittles - the striped albino cali king and a new pick-up this weekend, an abberant albino cali king female that I've named Starburst.

Skittles is always a "fan favorite" when we have group get togethers.

Here's a size reference of him - and I got him 13 months ago at about the same size as Starburst:

Just going out on the limb, but I think you're hooked on colubrids. :P

Again, they are looking great! LOVE the names too, I've always had such a hard time naming colubrids.

PS: You may want to have an invention with that Skittles of yours. :D

An invention???

I love the colubrids now - never thought I would - but Skittles won me over.

Judy came up with a great new name if I get a third cali king - Juicy Fruit! LOL

He's doing great. Took a pinkie last night, so it'll be a couple days before I can take some good pics. I love that all you have to do is stick food in there and poof it's gone. :D

Aww, I can't wait to see him! I just gave Starburst a pinkie tonight and I thought I was going to have to turn the lights out for her to eat it. Took Diamond for a walk, came back in and saw this snake just flailing around the enclosure. She was beating the dead pinkie (because it is f/t) further to death, just slamming him all over the enclosure - and THEN when he was good and dead, she ate him! LOL

Robin you know I love you little guys, thats why I ended up with one as well, and I will get some pics this weekend for sure. My female took a pinkie today, so I imagine she will be big in no time as well. Oh Skittles, causing addictions everywhere! :rolleye2:

It is Skittles' mission in life to charm the hearts of all herpers that they too will provide a loving home to a California kingsnake of their own! One herper at a time and we will see that everyone who knows us has at least one Cali king in their care! Two down this weekend - many more to go!
