Call me crazy...

....but I swear my pastel got lighter after his last shed. He's over a year old and I have noticed that he browned out a bit. However, I took him out of his tub after his last shed and could have swore someone swiped my old pastel and put this guy in! He's a lemon pastel, maybe his lemon genes finally decided to kick in? Hopefully these are good comparison pictures

Pastels do change a lot over the first few years. I've got over a dozen now over 2 years old, they seem to always be surprising me. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean you're NOT crazy... :rolleye2::rolleye2::rolleye2:

BTW: I like you're spider a lot... Mine has a mustache too. I call him Sanchez...

:cool: I'm not crazy :D I can't believe that they keep changing for so long. The last thing I expected was for him to get lighter. I accepted that he was browning out and I was waiting to see how much more yellow he lost. I was pleasantly surprised.

Thank you! I didn't realize their gold was so reflective and bright. I wondered if they all had mustaches! I didn't even notice his mustache till tonight. I love your spider's name! :8:

I dont think the lemon lines brown out like some of the other pastel lines do.

Hey Isis.....I dont think your nuts...I have a female jungle that was so brown she started to look normal and she has lightened over her last 4 sheds as well, not sure whats up with it, but it is quite obvious to me:)

That is so odd! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one this has happened to! I never would have thought they could start browning out and then all the sudden start unbrowning :confused:
