    Weird poo
so the other day we went to check on Leto, the albino red tail boa baby, and she pooed, but it was weird coloring.... could this be because of the color of the mouse ( which was white...) or something else?)

    heres a pic:

and heres a pic of the (somewhat proud?) girl-

she ate today and seems very content...but we were still curious about the odd colored poo...

Or maybe her feces is albino, just like she is?

I really have no idea what that could be, I've never had this happen to me before. Sorry I am no help, but maybe taking her to the vet for a fecal would be a good idea? I'm curious to see what the experts post on this thread, I wanna know what's up with that piece of ssshhh-feces is:D

Poop is not to be that color. You are best to baggie that up and put in fridge to get fecal done. Might have to wait till next poop if its been more than 48 hrs since he pooped.

You want fecals refrigerated till you take it to the vet 24-48 hrs after being released from the snake

Wow that's big for a snake, I thought it was suppose to be small? Sorry if I seem like a idiot, just never seen feces from a snake.

That is not a right looking poop. It may be a hairball but I doubt it. It looks partially digested. Double check your temps, make sure nothing got turned off by accident.

Getting a fecal done is not a bad idea but I don't think that's fecal matter. After her next poop get one though. Don't freeze it, just keep it moist and damp. A couple of days that way should be no problem.

    Who'd you get her from?

Wow... that is bizarre. I have not a clue. I know leopard geckos with crypto can poop that color, but I have no idea about snakes. I tried to research that, but diarrhea is a main symtom... nothing about color. And that poop seems normal except for the color.

    Keep us posted.

Having taken a better look, that could be a regurge too.

Any temp drops or spikes? Any handling after feeding? There's a lot of liquid too, which is not generally the case with poopage.

She's a tad on the skinny side.

Be sure your vet checks for crypto too.
