    New moon???
Anyone going to see new moon tomorrow night? I knwo twilight sucked but this has another director and the werewolves are introduced so it might be better. I think eclipse will be the best its already done shooting and the guy that did 30 days of night did it so im sure it will be darker. I thought 30 days of night was a great vampire movie!

I liked Twilight because i sat next to two grandmas who were laughing through the whole movie calling Edward a fairy, other than that i thought the acting was horrible.
Taking the girl to see the new one, not excited, hope i sit next to the same two grandmas so i dont get sidetracked on the werewolves that look like normal wolves.

well technically there shapeshifters. But I still think they look pretty good But if you like werewolves you should check out the trailer for the wolfman. That is going to be a great werewolf movie.

I don't know if I'll be going to see it in theaters at all. If I do it will be in a few weeks, I'm not going to sit in a crowded theater of teenagers. Count me out!

I'm a big fan of the books, not a fan of the movies. The first was cool, but it didn't float my boat. New Moon looks better than the first, but I still think I'd rather keep my thoughts they way they were before Twilight hit the media fan.

I love the plot, but hate Meyer's writing and the movies. By the way, xdeus, absolutely hilarious spoof! I'll probably see it, seeing as it's my obligation as a teenager, and also to see if the second one is better than the first.

Anyone besides me ever wonder who the expletive would ever turn a moody 17 year old whiny teenager into an immortal creature? You'd have to spend eternity knowing that somewhere that same 17 year old whiny teenager is still roaming, and they may very well continue to bug you for eternity.

I love vampire movies and books, but everything about twilight ruins the entire mythology behind them. I'll stick to waiting around for the next season of True Blood.

UgG..Im going, But I dont want to. I am a HUGE fan of the books, (I hated the last book, but what can you do?) The first movie was terrible though. The casting in the movies was horrible! They got some of the WORST possible actors for the movie. So We will see if a new director can whip them all into shape?

Im a huuuuuge fan of the books, I love the way Stephenie Meyer writes, i think shes an awesome writer. and I thought that the books are perfect for teenage girls- but yes the first movie was really dissapointing from the cast onward. sure RP is a hottie in Harry Potter but he was a creeper in Twilight- but then again.. movies like this pick the "now hot" actors- one that will get peoples attention and make these new actors hot... for now. Too bad they don't have too many good pple in it (tho Taylor Lautner is the perfect choice for a werewolf  Im deff gonna go see the new movie and the rest but :confuzd: im hooked :D

oh and i personally loved "Interview with a Vampire" and am a "Buffy" fan..... :D

I found the books to be disappointing on a massive scale (Especially when considering all the hype.) As for the movie, I thought it was worse.

Also, True Blood is better. :D

I personally don't care much for these teeny-bop movies, but I'm a big vampire fan also and I think the Twilight series is somewhat of an Underworld rip-off... then again, vampire movies have been over-done. Don't you think?

Actually the Twilight books rip-off the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.

And I'm definitely with you guys that say these "vampires" in the twilight series aren't really vampires. Vampires do not glitter in the sunlight - they burst into fire! I'm not a big Underworld guy either. When it comes to vampires Bram Stoker and Ann Rice are what it's all about!!!

Ann Rice did move away from horror a bit ago. Now she writes about Jesus Christ and Christianity instead of monsters and whatnot. Not sure what made her shift her focus but I sure miss her vampire novels. The original vampire chronicles are a great read!!!

The Bram Stoker movie wasn't great but the original novel really is a classic!

The Lost Boys is my favorite vampire movie of all time.

Mostly because of the laughs and ridiculousness of the 80s, plus who can't love jack bauer as a vampire?

    HEY GUYS.

I didn't read this whole thread, but I won premiere tickets from a blockbuster night (I have a friend who works there and I won them in a raffle) so I was in a group of 15 that went to see New Moon last night at 9:00pm before it actually was released.
None of use even like Twilight. I must say though, some of the facial expressions on Edward were the funniest things I have ever seen.

But other than that, I really don't like Twilight, I think she's a terrible writer and can't stand her books. But man, teasing the Midnight-Show line waiters was very fun. I can't believe there were over 300 people waiting for the Midnight show for over 5 hours. x.x

P.S. There's only one type of vampire I like. And that's a Hellsing vampire.

Man, I would've scalped those tickets sooo fast. You do realize that a teenage girl with rich parents have an almost unlimited amount of money on tap.
