what color is the belly of a normal ball python?

hold on lemme check (one looking a bp later Sorry, i didn't remember off the to of my head.. :P) darkish white with a bunch of light black crossovers/ smudges

hmmm sooo mine normal has like a brownish belly..im not sure if somethin wron wit her.. cuzz she had a prob sheddin too

is it pink? Blue Eyes? Ill try and get a pic up for u tomorrow :) mine is fresh shed. Can you get a pic up of your's belly? It can help everyone on the forms tell you if its normal- we arent vets but we can tell if a belly is right :)

lol ive tried to get pics up but i can't figure it out lol and she not in shed anymore... she got most of it off.. but i didn't come off as one whole thing.. and she still got a lil on her lower back.. she shed like a week ago and ive even tried to get it off but i can't.. well i could but i might hurt her .. but none on her belly...

Well the first thing is to get them hosted somewhere online.

You can put them in your gallery here - this tutorial is a bit old but the basic procedure is the same I think.

And here is another one in video form that might also help.

You can also use a site like http://photobucket.com/

They should also have tutorials to help you.

Well, that isn't a normal ball python. You even said in another thread that it is a pastel.

A pastels belly should be completely white.

here is a pic of my normals belly!!!! it kinda changed a lil believe it or not.. it was darker brown.. but it got lighter..

Sonds like your snake needed to shed.... also sounds like it was having trouble. What is your humidity?

It looks pink to me. Looks like he should be going into shed soon then.

well thats whats weird she just shed a week ago.. she shouldn't need to shed already..

Are you regulating the UTH with a thermostat?

You said she had brown patches of skin on her belly when she tried to shed, right? Thats usually a sign that the humidity is a little low.
