Butter & Pinstripe?
I went to pick out my BP the other day and got a beautiful Pinstripe Female. my friend went and saw a male Butter she had to have. What do you get crossing a butter & a Pin? Also what do you get if you breed a Pinstripe to a pastel? I tried to post pictures but I dont know how?
Thanks!

Re: Butter & Pinstripe?
Pastel X Pin is a Blast
Butter X Pin would be a...King Pin-ish animal

Re: Butter & Pinstripe?
Pinstripe x pastel.: http://www.newenglandreptile.com/ner...ll-python.html
Chances of getting a Lemon Blast in such pairing is.:
Pinstripe X Pastel = 25% Lemon Blast, 25% Pinstripe, 25% Pastel, 25% Normal
Pinstripe x Butter or Lesser (almost same look between them).: http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com/bi...hons_13_05.asp
Chances of getting a King Pin in such pairing is.:
Same as before just replace Lemon Blast with King Pin. :)

Re: Butter & Pinstripe?
Thanks for the info! I am so excited to bring my little girl home! I have to wait till christmas time but I will be able to go over and play with her so I am super excited! two more questions, what if I bred the Pin to a pastel then took a lemonblast baby and bred it back to 1) the Pastel 2) the Pin
Then what about a Lemonblast to a kingpin?
Thank you!

Here is a good site for that. if you hold down control you can select more than one trait on each snake.

Sorry no spider in there at all. You would have 3 genes to play with. Pinstripe, Pastel, and Butter.
According to genetic wizard it breaks down like this:
6.25% Normal
6.25% Pastel
12.50% Pinstripe
12.50% Lemon Blast
6.25% Super Pinstripe
6.25% Pastel, Super Pinstripe
6.25% Butter
6.25% Pastel, Butter
12.50% Pinstripe, Butter
12.50% Lemon Blast, Butter
6.25% Super Pinstripe, Butter
6.25% Pastel, Super Pinstripe, Butter

Except Pinstripes are dominant, so I'm not sure exactly what's up with the "Homozygous" Pinstripe...

Re: Butter & Pinstripe?
Ask Brian from BHB about that one. You could also search on here. There is a super pin that looks like any other pin, but as far as has been released it only produces pins and no normals. Which would indicate that it is in fact a super pin.
