Official Week 9 BP.net Bowl Fantasy Football Thread

Fatboy, I hope I beat you this week, I could really use to give you a loss, and sum another win.

My only difficulties are with 2 choices, I can't debate weither to start Ravens D/ST @ the Bengals, or Broncos D/ST(home) versus the Steelers. I figure that Broncos at home would probably be better then Ravens at the bengals though.

Then my other complication was with starting Crabtree, he has been doing half decent especially for a rookie, and then against Titans, which have one of the worst passing complications. Hopefully I made the right choices on those though, guess we'll see a bit later.

Other then that i'm counting on emilius to lose to t-bonez, which will put me closer to clinching my divison.

Doesn't seem like too tall of an order, he's doing good so far.

Looks like a good choice on not starting Ravens D/ST as their getting blown out this moment 17-0.

Yep, haha looks like T-Bone is going to pull this one out. Just 3 wins, and one of them against Emilius, wow.

At first I didn't think I had a chance of coming back to beat Fatboy, but Chris Johnson has done amazing again, and is helping me out so much. I would of hoped for Colston & Brees to do much better as a team. Hopefully Johnson can pull another TD or something. He's at like 126 yards & 2 TD's. I guess we'll see.

Man it's going to be a close on between me and Fatboy, atleast hoping Big Ben doesn't go off nailing some odd points, and hoping Marshall does good, aswell as the Broncos Defense.

I won in 2 leagues for sure, this league depends on my WR & D/ST, then my other league depends on my D/ST, which I also have the broncos and i'm up 72-71, he has nobody left to play.

For some reason I see Broncos doing a decent job, but I don't see Marshall pulling double digits like ESPN expects him to.

I've got a pretty good lead up on Colin, but certainly not insurmountable. Miles Austin's one catch might be the one that wins it for me. I wonder why Colin didn't start his defense? It would have gotten him 6 points closer. I also wonder why FB didn't get another tight end in his lineup... Neal I hope you lose tonight. :P Only because I'm a Charger fan and hate the Broncos. :taz:

I'm not talking, and i'm not a Broncos fan either. I got who I have out of a trade & Waviers. I'm glad Marshall has 82 yards. Now I could really use him to get a TD, and maybe the Broncos a sack or 2 more, or Big Ben a INT or a fumble, either or would really help me.

Why does it feel like only my games come down to the wire all so often?

Well there is that fumble I was hoping for, and a defensive TD, hey now I need Marshall to get a passing TD.

ugh, figures that i'd pick up orton and then matthew stafford would score three times more points than he did.

Well, it seems I lost, i'm actually pretty mad, I had all intentions of beating Fatboy, stupid Big Ben and that last TD. 97-95. It would of helped if Marshall would of gotten a TD pass. Very close game though.

It's okay though, because next week I have some seriously easy matchups. Despite the fact i'm projected 152, I don't think ill get 150 but i'm pretty confident about 140's. My QB Brees & WR Colston are playing the Rams who have a horrid pass defense. Then my RB Johnson who has scored 35 vs Jaguars & 27 vs 49ers, is playing Bills who have the among the worst run Defense, and then my RB Jones is playing Jaguars, who have a bad run Defense also. WR Edwards vs Jaguars which have a bad pass d, but i'm not expecting much from Edwards as he's been off and on. Marshall is playing against Washington, Ravens Defense vs Browns.

I have the #2, 8, 18 & 18 ranked RB's. Matter of fact, only RB that Colin has that has more pts then 2 of my guys is Jackson.

I'm open to trade my 2 18 guys, if anybody is in need of a RB. I could use another decent WR, and i'll even offer Burleson up with one of them for a possibly better WR.

Woo hoo, I am finally in playoff contention! Was really hoping to be the point leader in division 2 but apparently that didnt happen, really close though!

And all of it with my measly 3-5-1 record!!

Glad you have faith, but I don't see you surpassing me. I know for a fact I will not lose in Week 10, unless for some mysterious reason all my people get hurt. Kind of sucks that you get the easy win over Dillan because of him not playing. I honestly look down on him as a idiot for abandoning a league that everybody promised to play in.

I agree with that completely! But figure you are suppose to have a hell hellacious week so you outta win too, which will leave me at a half a game back still and we are head up week eleven so its pretty much like a playoff game for both of us! At least its all interesting!!

I agree. why sign up if you're not going to play.

Let's be careful of any sort of name calling please.

We all agreed to stick with the league but sometimes issues and circumstances arise that we don't plan for. I have been part of many leagues. 90% of the time one or two people do not end up completing the season.

But again, this is a BP.net forum so let's just be careful of calling anyone out for the choices they make.
