It's time to hit HSUS back

This organization is one of the biggest bunch of hypocrites I know of. I think it is high time to start educating people about what they are really about. I think if people knew what they were really like, support would wain. They are wolves in sheep's clothing. Start putting the articles showing their true colors on your Facebook, MySpace, websites, etc. They are non-profit. Without support from the public, they will collapse. I think many of their supporters think they are more like the national version of their local SPCA, not the left wing radical organization they really are.

I already write nasty stuff on their wall of facebook just so that all can see. I hope to take away as many of their tax free dollars as possible.

I actually agree. The word needs to be spread that HSUS is attacking the pet industry in the US, and attempting to prevent people from owning reptiles.

I posted some of the choice quotes from Wayne (ceo of HSUS ) on the" HSUS stop puppy mills" facebook page and upset some of the supporters on there. :colbert:

I'm all for pointing out flaws and mistakes that HSUS makes, but I don't think we should start posting nasty things.

We need to approach this with intelligence and professionalism and people may just start taking the reptile community much much more seriously.

HSUS Definitly needs to be knocked down a notch as they are getting too powerful and greedy and think they can pass whatever law they want to. This is not the case.

No, 'nasty things' is not the way to go. It's important not to come across looking juvenile or nasty.

Just tell it like it is. HSUS misuses their funds, HSUS does not fund local shelters, HSUS aids domestic terrorist groups, and HSUS has proclaimed its goal is to end the private ownership of reptiles in the US.

I've already gotten a few people to stop donating to HSUS. The more folks who spread the word, the heavier the impact will be.
Search YouTube for more fuel for the fire. HSUS has been a bunch of BAD boys. They really have. They've had news features devoted to how naughty they have been. They're in a bad position to throw stones, we just need to publicize it more.

I only post quotes and facts on facebook.

Hey slow down there, I work at PetSmart and we don't even tell anyone to donate to anything but their local organizations or Petsmart Charities.

Nice to see others getting so into the fight, I'm starting to become more hopeful now about the future failure of the HR2811 bill.

yeah we need to hit the HSUS back hard and i mean it to ,,, all the money that gets donated just goes right in the pockets of the reps.. that are trying to get the bill passed and also the one that are going to choose if it passes or not,, we need to get as many people as we can to help stop all the money that is being donated to the HSUS, we take the money away we take the power away and when that happens the reps.. don't get payed wand when that happens they look to what is making the money, and at that time it would and always be the herp community,,,, if we all take a stand and also find a alternate , to help support taking down puppy mills and helping the local shelters, we dont need one support group running every thing, we need multiple, across the U.S. ,,,, one in every state that help their own local pet problems,,,,if we all can make this possible,, we would never need the HSUS,, to do it all,, and also do nothing at all, they need to be another ENRON COMPANY,,,,,, it would take a while but at least it would postpone, the bill of H.R.2811.....

We as a group need to make the creditability of HSUS go down in flames as fast as the dust settles on bill HR2811 you know for sure there will be bill HR ---- the lizaed bill then what ever else is left bill they will never stop so we should be always ready for the challange. Facebook and myspace that HSUS video everywhere e-mail it to friends post that video on as many forums as possible . We need to cut off the funds of the HSUS then keep on hitting even harder. :banana: :rolleye2:
