Has anyone ever compared their love for a certain thing or hobby to such an addiction?

I JUST BOUGHT 3 MORE BALLS!!! Not to mention the Surinam boa i also just bought. Wont be long before my snakes & I move into a shed under the interstate LOL:weirdface

Oh I feel your pain. I got 2 snakes this year and I only planned on 1 lol

Reminds me of my geckos too, got one last august... then another that december and then I got a male and now.... babies :rolleye2:

I'll believe that all the way. Ive heard of drug addicts losing everything to their habit but honestly i think the only thing that compares to this habit is a chronic gambler. I think my fish are getting jealous :rolleyes:

I am soooo bad! My son got one in September and then I fell in love and got a Bee in Oct. Planning on a lesser or 2 in November. Oh and lets not forget about the racks that I am ordering.

Good thing that I have a great "puppy dog look" that works on my husband!!! Because the money I make working at my son's school doesn't even begin to cover the money I am spending each month so far.

And ya know......I can't just go for a spider or a pastel..no no..I gotta go straight to the more expensive morphs....lol I gotta have the lessers so I can make a BEL someday because although I got the "look" down there is NO WAY I can convince him to spend 3 grand on a BEL.

Oh well....some girls like purses...some like shoes or clothes....I like snakes!!

So right. If I had more money...look out. I've got a bp wish list a mile long. Makes me so jealous to see some of the awesome combo snakes that people have on here. :(:P

I'm in the same boat as everyone else! I got my first snake (normal BP) three years ago. I was fine until I found the most gorgeous Lesser I've ever seen a year ago, saying I just wanted one morph and I might breed them eventually...though not anytime soon....

Yeah, um, I've bought nine additional BPs since April. o.O And of course, they're not the cheap morphs either. >.< I'm trying very hard to not buy any more until I get some offspring to sell. Not sure how long that's gonna last, though.... Sooo many people have gorgeous snakes I want!

I KNOW I KNOW!!! Believe me i want that giant pastel or the saharan but now I need to check my finances again LOL.

I was offered a great deal on a pair of recessives & a woma that I couldnt pass up. It was like one of those things where you know you shouldnt but you just have to.

I get another rack in a week or so. As soon as i have the room im sure i'll be getting something else. I havent forgot about you guys!! :P

I know the feeling I started with just rescued snake (5) and now I got 23 snakes andI just spent 55 bucks of rodents this afternoon and that not to feed them. tryingo t in crease the rodent out put so I cna try and save/make a buck so I can offset the care cost of the rodents. The only saving grace I got is I have a waiting list for rodents ( people buying from me ) once I can produce more than I need a week. cause ther only 2 pet shops left locally and at 6 bucks for their medium rats I need a loan every month to feed my snakes since i try keep the snakes on pups( small rats) and use the adult/large ones to keep slim the boa happy.


Lucky mom also fell for he line they will pay /turn a profit once i can prove out the hets and make butters myself.

Before I moved to Utah to be with my Fiance he got a normal BP and I alway teased him about feeding it to a cat.. Kept tellin him how much I COULDNT STAND snakes, they were useless, mean and just totally unpredictable... Now, I have my babies Jewels and Diamond that I love to death and have a total different outlook on snakes.. My christmas wish list consists of a piebald ball python and an axanthic(sp?)... They are way too addicting! I LOVE IT!

i think everyone here is the same way... i just picked up another 20G tank and heating pad in anticipation of me coming home sunday from the reptile show with another snake... it was the same way with chameleons too thank god i stopeed at 3
