Weeeeeeeeeee!
I went to visit my breeder friend today for some help with my little Lavender Corn (bloody buggar wasn't eating....-mutter-). While I was there, I just HAD to take a look at this lovely little red-tail that he had for sale. It was love at instant handling. So, I will be picking it up tomorrow after 4pm. Figured I'd share the pics now, though, because I'm stoked. lol.

I love how bright red it's tail is, it has great markings. Not sure if it is male or female, yet, but will be looking to get it sexed soon. What do you guys think?

Wow! He/she is great looking. Do you know what kind of red tail it is?

She/he is a colombian I'm pretty sure and has some reverse tail stripe action going on. Very beautiful!

Re: Weeeeeeeeeee!
Thanks everyone. :D I just picked it up this afternoon and am giving it time to settle in. (S)He seems to like the new home and has been inspecting everything happily. I'll try to get some decent pictures up in the next day or two. I'm gonna have to get it sexed as soon as I can, but until I know for sure, I've been referring to it as "him". I'm hoping it's a male, anyway. :) He's just so cute! I love his shapely head.
Jeez, listen to me, I sound like a kid with a dime in a candy store.
*Edit*
I forgot to mention that it is a Columbian Red Tail. :)

Re: Weeeeeeeeeee!
Nice colombian!
An easy way to sex baby boas is to run your thumb from vent to the tip of the tail. If you feel a little bump that moves under your finger, you have felt the hemipenes. If you feel just a smooth consistent texture, than it's most likely a female.
It's not 100% but its a lot easier than popping boas and still pretty accurate.

Re: Weeeeeeeeeee!
Hey thanks, Mike! :) I'll give that a try and see if I can tell the difference. I appreciate the info.

Re: Weeeeeeeeeee!
Now that's a really pretty boa!

Re: Weeeeeeeeeee!
VERY pretty boa! I really would like to have one, one day. But I've decided as long as I'm keeping pythons, I won't get a boa. :(

Re: Weeeeeeeeeee!
I tried the trick that you mentioned, Mike, but I couldn't really tell. I'm just not experienced enough. :D I think I'll just have to take it in to the vet and have them sex it for me. Thanks for the compliments everyone, I appreciate it.
I currently have Corns, Ball Pythons and now a Boa and have to say that out of all of them, the Boa is definitely the most mellow and easy-going. :weirdface I wasn't sure about getting one for the longest time, but now I am really happy that I did, I just love the little tyke.

Re: Weeeeeeeeeee!
Thanks, Boanerges. I'm so happy with him. Here are some pictures that I took today. He's not the easiest thing in the world to photograph, and I'm definitely not the best photographer, so please excuse the blurry or unclear shots.

Tiny bit of stuck shed on his forehead. I'm hoping it will come off with his next shed, since I haven't had much luck removing it with water/damp cloth.
