    haloween show
A friend of mine asked me to set up a reptile table for a local church. They had a Halloween party in the church building for all the kids. All the rooms had different Halloween related themes, and I guess I was the creepy, crawly room. It was a great time and with over 100 kids there, I certainly made a few future herpers!!!

The kids favorites (in this order) were the Arizona Mountain Kingsnake, the Leopard Geckos, the cornsnakes, The Crested Geckos, and the Red Tail. LOL, they didn't care much about the balls... but several did like like the albinos.

    Here was the spread....

That's awesome! Last week, I took my three BPs down to my boss's wife's elementary school for a science night they were having. I was part of the Exotic Animals display, but got completely upstaged by a really awesome lady that brought in a baby kangaroo, a baby albino wallaby, and a baby kinkajou. Still, the kids loved it! My pastel girl is really laid back, so she got to go through the audience and have the kids touch her back. The parents mostly ran for the back of the room, but the kids had all kinds of questions, and ooh'ed and ahh'd over my babies. :D

I'd definitely do it again. :gj:

Well, since they didn't care much for the Balls, you should pass them this way.

This gives me a thought. Hmmmm. If more people would volunteer to share the hobby outside of the close knit circle of herpers, maybe when the "Defenders of wildlife" post videos the general public won't be so prone to believe the steriotypes. GOOD JOB Mike!!!:gj::gj::salute:
