First eggs ever! I was so excited but definitely did not expect these. We paired her up on 9/30 with a cinny and a pastel on 10/4. Seen her lock up with the cinny.

Had you paired her up before 9/30? That seems a little fast for eggs...

6 eggs, no i've never paired her up before and as far as I know she's never bred. I seen her locked with the cinny male on 10/4.

Are you sure you have your dates right? Less than 30 days from first breeding to eggs sounds pretty off even if she ovulated the day after you paired them up.

Yes, I use Degei for my breeding records and it auto generates the date when you make an entry.

6 eggs that look good--time will tell if they're fertile, I guess. Keep us updated. :)

How long have you had her and who did you get her from?

She was actually given to me from a member of this site. I have had her since the begining of January. And I got an email this morning from that person letting me know that no she had never been bred before. So I guess that cinny just had great timing.

Have you candled them?? I would be very curious to see if they are indeed fertile.

I may be wrong, but, I'm pretty dang sure infertile eggs don't look like that. We have all, at least, seen pics of slugs. Congrats!

They look like nice healthy eggs to me. One has a window on it too so you mighr be able to tell who daddy is after a while. The pastel could very well have locked and just wasnt noticed so he could be daddy too. Good luck keep us updates.

i had a male breed a female of mine and it litterally only took a month and some change before she laid, 6 eggs and all were hatched and 100% healthy. nice looking eggs.... im hoping for the same "early clutches" because i have had quite a number of early locks.

Not really, I mean she did lock up with the cinny for quite a while. Won't know until some babies start hatching. Or if the window proves useful heh. How old do eggs have to be before the babies start developing color?

I had 2 infertile eggs in a clutch and they looked exactly like the fertile one. They weren't slugs either cause there were actually 4 slugs in this clutch too. The slugs were small, yellow and firm.

Two on the left were infertile. They weren't the prettiest eggs buy they still looked viable before I candled them.

Here is one of the infertile eggs being candled. No veins at all but looked good otherwise. Over time they got moldy and I took them out of the egg box and cut them. It was disgusting but no signs of an embryo.

Congrats on the clutch and hope all goes well!!
