Along Came a Spider...
I've been waiting for this spider girl for a very LONG time, and she is finaly here! :)
"She's gorgeous!" ;)
I love her head and body pattern. I want to give a big THANKS to Mike Cavanaugh here in the forums for letting me have her. :gj:
I still cant get over her, but she seems a little wired from the trip and Im just gonna let her be in her new tub.
So welcome Stitches, Daughter of the Stripper! LOL!

Re: Along Came a Spider...
Very nice spider! I am hoping to add one to my collection next year!
-
Re: Along Came a Spider...
Why did he send you the ugly one?
Just kidding.
She's really nice. Very. Damnfine even.

Re: Along Came a Spider...
Spiders still continue to be my favorite morph. There are a lot of cool things out there, but many of the triple/quadruple morphs don't stand up to a spider IMO.

Re: Along Came a Spider...
Thanks everyone
I forgot how small they are when they are just hatchlings! I felt like I could break her any minute if I was careless lol.
I also forgot why they are called "ball" pythons! :gj: Cute little balling BP

Re: Along Came a Spider...
Congrats. Spiders are just great because the pattern is variable.

Re: Along Came a Spider...
she's lovely! the only thing that will make her more lovely is when she's 1500 grams :gj:

Re: Along Came a Spider...
I just wanted to give an update on her, she is growing like weed. She just shed and left me a "present" and I havent take pictures of her in a while, So I though this would be a good time.
Another pic of when I received her in the mail, she was very tiny!

And the Update! (02-08-2010) I just took these pictures, but I forgot to turn on the date stamp. I think my camera skills have improve some! :D
I failed in this picture :colbert:. But you can still see her weight.

Re: Along Came a Spider...
Wow both of our Spiders are practically the same size haha! Spiders are the cutest when they are hatchlings, but they still are adorable when they are older. They seem to have these little curious but serious faces:D
Good luck with her, she's really beautiful:gj:

Re: Along Came a Spider...

Re: Along Came a Spider...

Re: Along Came a Spider...
Haha thanks, she is also the only snake that has bit me so far.
I miss my BPs balling up, none of them ball up anymore...

Yeah some of mine aren't balling up anymore either, they grow up so fast :')
You know, now I think your Ball python is about as large as my normal (Bindi) and the same weight:O

Re: Along Came a Spider...
Im just amazed how much weight she has gained in 3 months, about 342g! (449 - 107 = 342g)
When I received my already 1+ year Axanthic, he has 306g even though he was VERY thin. My early 09s normal (Female) and pastel (male) that I raised from hatchlings too are nearing 800gs. At this rate she is gonna pass them both :O

I guess some grow faster than others, my female Candice is definitely picking up speed now. She seems to grow 50g+ with each meal she eats.

Re: Along Came a Spider...
She looks great!
Some balls look way better as babies then they do as adults. This gem though will look better and better the bigger she gets because that pattern is going to keep spreading out. can't wait to see her at 1500 grams!!!

Re: Along Came a Spider...

Re: Along Came a Spider...
Thanks!
I could have just bought a Bee, but I though it would be a good rewarding experience to breed it on my own. Plus when Mike showed me his clutch of spiders I was realy amazed. They were all good looking spiders. :D
I cant wait to see the Bee's that will come out of her!!
