Hoax's first season!!!!!

I have decided to go with breeding my poss het alb. pastel to both of my females; pastel and het alb.

I don't think they have locked up yet but it is looking good.

OK after being together for two days, which I believe they were hooked up for most of, they were no longer speaking to each other so I separated and fed them.

The female has already ate after the male eats he is going to have a few days to digest his dinner and get to work on my het alb fem.

Can any one give me a few hints to look out for? This is my first season and I would like it to be a happy one.

I put him in with my het female hopefully they will get the idea tonight and lock up?!?!?

It took him all of three seconds to warm up to my pastel female but Kim (het alb) aint having non of it, when I checked on them earlier he was in the hide and she was out, not a good sign!

Well I checked on them later and they were chilling together but no moves. Yesterday I checked on them and they had their tales twisted and they have been that way since I checked on them earlier. They seem alright I am going to separate them tomorrow and put him back with the first female Monday and just swap them out every week giving Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off, until I get what I want (or they just aint havin no more of it)

Thanks for all the well wishes, just wanted to update a little.

Put Jack (Pastel Poss Het Albino) back in with Sally (pastel) hopefully we will get another lock up with these two.

Sally ain't havin it this time :(

I am seperating them this evening and giving him three days off.

Then he will go back with Kim my 100%het alb girl, maybe he will have better luck with her.

Any advice? I don't feel like I am working him to hard but if he is stressed I don't think he would breed?

Sorry I haven't posted in a bit.

Hope every one had a merry Christmas.

Jack went on a hunger strike so I haven't been breeding him.

Both of the girls shed around Nov, 10 and neither ate last week.

If he goes back on food I'll try pairing them up some more, but most likely I will just hold off for next year. Jack is still young and I would sure hate to hurt his chances next year by pushing to hard this year.

Maybe you should give him a try on empty. I don't think it would hurt him.

I am sure this is just wishful thinking but...

My pastel female was wrapped around her water bowl and was looking somewhat lumpy and irritable.

If either one does go I am going to freak out. I keep stressing about the incubator(DIY this year), which I guess I better get up and running before I have eggs in the tub.

Then what the heck am I going to do with these little boogers, better head over to RBI and make an order.

Sorry about the rambling just thinking out loud hoping some one will see a misfire in the synapses.
