After a not so hot season... looks like I get early eggs. :)
My girl Samantha has been wrapping and inverting, like the groovy snake that she is. I was thinking maybe... but then I checked on her tonight before going out and I saw that BIG AS A HOUSE(!) saucisse wrapping around her bowl and so upside down that she had to turn her head to look at me. :D
Most know the story, so I will not go into it at length, as it sucks and stuff.
But she was breeding from november of last year till the fire, did not take and did not ovulate, but once we got settled I hooked her up with 2 dates. Enchi and Fire, and it looks like she is ready to go?!
I NEVER get early clutches! So I am feeling optimistic and elated.
I absolutely adore this snake and both of the males she was paired with.
I am due for some good snake news, so cross you fingers for us/her...
Just had to share.

Awesome, they are all GREAT looking snakes!!
LOL I love how you named the Fire "Ash". That seems like the perfect name for a Fire Ball python LOL.:D
Re: After a not so hot season... looks like I get early eggs. :)
My first BP (RIP) was named Ash, and I even have a Linda that was to be his betrothed. For all the Evil Dead affecionados. :)
So I had to reuse the name, and when I got him it was the best way to recycle that nam.e :)

For sure, the name Ash definitely fits for a Fire.
How long did you have your first BP for?

Congrats on the early clutch! That male fire and enchi really show what those morphs are supposed to look like. So often I see fires and enchis that basically look like normals
Re: After a not so hot season... looks like I get early eggs. :)
Hey congrats. Its my first season and I was test pairing early on this year, and it seems that my female is going to ovulate soon. She's glowing and refusing food now after a month of wrapping and laying on the cool side with a tail tuck to go with it. Looks like some potential mojaves for my first season coming soon. Super stokered. Good luck with your clutch!

Good Luck Bruce! You deserve to have an awesome clutch!

My thoughts as well. Hope you get Fires and Enchis. :gj:
Glad to hear everything is somewhat back to normal for you Bruce.
Re: After a not so hot season... looks like I get early eggs. :)
Thanks all, I am pretty excited, but also get that it could end up being nothing.... bps are funny that way. :)
Picking up some new snakes at the montreal show tomorrow as well as two loaners, so I am feeling stoked.
I have been in need of some snake motivation lately, it has been hard to get back into it.

She is off feed... she is wrapping... inverting... building... and today she flipped my little Enchi male off of her. Figured I would try the test of a sessy ex-lover to see if she could resist or not.
Guess I need to scrub the smoke off the 'bator and get it prepped and then just cross my fingers and hope for the best... she is I think 6 or 7 years old and a virgin.
*UHM* WAS a virgin.
Last older virgin gave me two clutches of 10 eggs one season and then 9 eggs the next, so I have high*ish* hopes. :)
