Value of Orange
Well, like the title says, who can tell me what the estimate value of an orange morph is? Is $120 for a hatchling orange too much, or a really good deal. I haven't yet researched the breeding possibilities of an orange yet, and how useful they would be in a collection.
Any thoughts, opinions, and insight would be much appreciated. Thanks a million!:D

Re: Value of Orange
Orange....what? Many newly hatched BP's look orange...but that is just a hatchling coloration that starts to fade with the first shed. I hope someone isn't trying to pass that off as a morph. ;) I've never heard of a morph called "Orange" unless it was a descriptive term for another morph, like an orange ghost....which would probably not be priced at $120.
A little more info on the specific deal you're looking into might be helpful. :)

Re: Value of Orange
Orange what? Is it just an orange BP or something else??? Pictures would also be a great halp.

Re: Value of Orange
You need to be more clear in your question.
Most people are more than likely wondering what you are asking, because of the fact that there are no "Orange" morphs.
At least not the title...
There are orange colored morphs, but no morph called Orange

Re: Value of Orange
It's most likely orange ghost, but with the number of spams now adays I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if someone is trying to sell a new "Morph" called the Orange.

Re: Value of Orange
Just to add..if your talking about a normal that is just more orange colored, Its still just a normal and not a morph unless it is proven other wise through breeding.

Re: Value of Orange
Okay, my apologies guys, I'm still learning.
So far as I know, the clerk told me they "bought it from a breeder, who claimed it was a morph." She didn't say an EXACT name of morph. All I know was it definitely had an orange hue on the saddles. Other than that, it looked normal. And it may well could be normal! Definitely no signs of ghost in it, of that, I'm sure.
Sorry for all the confusion, guys.

Ahah! Even though I'm the brunt of the joke, that made me laugh.
I read the "pie guy" thread as well.

Re: Value of Orange
Haha, I meant no offense at all! But yes, I wouldn't trust this "morph." Perhaps they meant Orange Belly which is just another line of Yellow Belly--but unless they have papers and a guarantee, I wouldn't spend any money. Good luck!

Re: Value of Orange
Thanks for the help, guys. :)
I definitely won't be too hasty in making poor investments. I would have rather gone with the other hatchling they had, with the crazy-busy pattern, but it sold.
I'm just so antsy to get into this breeding stuff, though I have plenty of time before my girl is old enough! lol

Re: Value of Orange
theirs always the orange glow from pythonica, but that costs more than $120

Re: Value of Orange
It's probably just a normal BP with a lot more orange than normal. I've seen those go for $50
