The first one looks like it is going through its color change which is always cool to watch. The second one has a very cool pattern going down its back. Ultimately the choice is yours and you cant go wrong with Rico. He is a great guy with great animals.

Get the second one for sure. Love the eyes, also he looks like he will have a cleaner prettier pattern as an adult.

I like the first ones parents waaaay better.

And unless the chondro is full grown, its looks are nothing right now, its all about the parents.

well the first one has mite phase genes in it. might turn out to be a mite phase itself. which i like better but the choice is yours. you doing it right either way going with a signal herp animal.

I personally like #2. I like the parents better, nice smooth, clean blues and greens.

Good luck, you can't go wrong either way!:gj:

I agree. I have had four Chondro's, they are my favorites. Sadly I had to sell them because of some life problems. But I'm getting back into the herping scene and I can get more. The person I usually buy from is Troy from Frantz Hepetological. Every animal he has sold me has been amazing. But I think I'm going to spend a little bit more money this time and buy from Rico.

I think i forgot to post my reasoning:

Comparing the two for quality, the first one has superior looks at the moment.

Comparing the two for quality, the first one's parents have superior coloration, especially the dam.

I disagree for sure. I think the second one has better looks, and I think his parents look nicer.

I love the mite phase look actually. But I have decided for Male 01. I am going to see if I can go pick it up at his facility, I live like an hour away so. But keep in mind these pics were taken in May think of what they look like now! =D

Anyways I will show everyone pics when I get them. =D Thanks everyone for your help.

for those of you that said number two because of the way it looks now....that means nothing with these animals. that guy could turn all green within a week. don't belive me? ask anyone who had a canary turn green on them.

I agree I had to choose between a 700 Canary or a $650 Bumble bee Morph. I chose the latter just because of that no guarantee.

definatly the first one, not only is it in the blue line but the dam has black on it!!!! So technicaly you have a chance to pass on not only the blue but you could try to breed out the black!!! thats if you want it for breeding!!! so jelous

These are pics from a friend of mine. I'm sure she will not mind me sharing.
This is her male, JMMV08001-3 so it's a clutchmate to number one on your list.

Because a snake is blue does not make it a blue line. Unfortunately these were not bred by Rico (OP, if you have a chance to pick it up there you will be amazed. I plan on going back in the coming months. It's an experience for sure, and Rico is super cool.) John does not have any documentation as to the lines of the animals from any of the pairings for 2008. Rico has a ton of information about them though. He knows what line they are probably are from, but I do not recall it now. I think out of like 6 chondro keepers in this area I'm the only one without a JMMV baby, and everyone is super psyched on them. You won't be disappointed.

    Re: Which Chondro to choose?
well i know it doesnt mean its in the blue line, but u might be able to pass the blue on and basically have a blue line. The parent has some insane blue, it may not be hereditary but if it is you will have one heck of a snake

Im possibly getting the $900 female from the second clutch. I say the second clutch looks the best but that my opinion. You can't go wrong with either.
