ABSOLUTE, single favorite reptile (you have ever owned)?

Mine is the very first bp, Paddy. :)

Mine would have to be my coastal carpet python after she tamed down she the sweetest most interactive snake a i had ever owned i also held an foot one at a pet store she was awesome to having that much energy at such a size she was a handful so was the jag carpet they had lol.

Blue tree monitor. The fake rainforest in my basement looked great but was too hard to maintain so they had to go.

My absolute favorite was an albino burmese python named Archon. He was my first constrictor. Purchased on a whim back when i was 19.

I cried when i gave him away lol! I was very attached to him but had to rehome him with a breeder once he got to be a large size. I went to a friends house to see his 18 ft long burmese female and was a little intimidated. I realised i wouldnt be able to provide the care and housing mine would need as an adult.

So now im just keeping Ball Pythons :)

I dont have to worry about them getting too big or having to rehome them.

I'm pretty new here but have been keeping snakes for around 12 years. My all-time favorite is a male snow phase corn snake that I bought as a retired breeder 10 years ago and he's still with me today. His name is Fred and anyone who knows me also knows him. Corns aren't the most amazing species, but Fred is just an all-around cool snake. I teach 5th grade and he's been in the schools I've worked in for 5 years teaching both kids and adults about how cool snakes can be.

For me its my 7 year old male common snapper. Had him with me since he was just 19 day old hatchling.

He's 15.4'', 35.4 LBS and still averaging 1'' of growth each year.

My love of my snakes is entirely dependent on who is eating the best for me ~_~

Right now I love my new lesser, since on my second feeding try he took frozen in almost no time, then gulped them down no questions asked. If only my female fire, Ginger, would get to being like that.

I would have to say Freddy the Spiny tailed Iguana.I got him as a rescue with MBD,When I brought him home he could barely use his rear legs.He was a mean SOB too.I gradually nursed him back to health and tamed him down to the point where I would take him to the local park for natural light.At first I had one of those little Iguana leashes but eventually I just brought him without it.I never tried to run off or climb the trees.About 5years ago I lost him to natural causes it was just his time.I truly had a bond with that lizard and just typing this made me realize how much I miss him.I don't have any digital images of him but I do have an old 4x6 I'll try to scan and post.

Eastern hognose. Kept a few wild caught hognoses growing up and am very fond of them.

Definitely my very first Ball python, Candice. She's a total sweetheart, and wouldn't give her up for anything or any amount of money. To me, she's worth way more than all of the money in the world.

As much as I love my ball pythons, my favorite animal is actually the first snake ever (which kinda seems to be a trend here) My Red Tail boa (bci) Jax, also have other corny names for him for example on feeding day he is the hammer
(thats how he gets his food.. hits it like a hammer lol) Any way his personality is what keeps me in love with him. People say snakes dont like to be handled, jax would hang out with me all day if I had the time and would let him. He actually still races back up my arms when i try to put him away.... like no no dont put me back in there I wanna stay with you....

Mine is my first retic, Azrael. He is the sweetest creature ever, I could never part with him. I got him when he was a hatchling, now hes almost 6 feet and growing every day. Just a doll! I can't describe the bond I have with this animal, but lets just say this is the only retic whose cage I would reach into barehanded!

I know it's gonna sound kinda weird but mine was a Green anole male I named Nick R.I.P. After a friends dad, He was what started my fascination with reptiles.

Falsies are the bomb!!....I love mine...I've never met a snake with as much personality as a FWC.

My all time favorite reptile is my little Sambava Panther Chameleon "Hugh". He was not my first reptile but he was my first Cham. and LOVE him to death. I got him when he was 3 months old and is now 7.

My favorite would be a black and white tegu "Joe" I got about 18 years ago. He had so much personality!

My all time favorite reptile would have to be "Kazar" my 4' Eastern Chain King. Thats snake was so docile and had so much personality that my mom would sit and watch it, and she absolutely hated snakes! Both have now passed. :tears:

My favorite reptile is my bearded dragon, Wasabi. Look at the personality! Also.. My boyfriend loves him and will hold him and pet him and that is so special to me.
