I thought he had RI b/c of drooling, called the vet, looked for symptoms, i think i was overreacting but will keep a eye on him.

She tagged me last night :P. I dropped her water on the floor and scared her, my fault :rolleye2:
Now, question time. She was fed live pink rats and i cant get thoes where i am, the closest thing i have to them are small adult live mice. Would she be able to take down and swallow a small adult mouse ok? Thanks. Hope you enjoyed the pics. I hope to get a group pic of them all after thoes 2 pastels get out of quarantine :D

Ya , she should be able to handle a small mouse but I would just go with the rule of the widest part of the snake should be the same width as the mouse!

I think she could eat a big adult mouse just fine.

You'd be surprised how big their necks can expand. I have a hatchling that is just barely 100g that can take down a medium mouse.

Nice collection & don't worry about their neck- BPs can easily eat prey equal in width to the the widest part of their bodies.

dont worry about a adult mouse, my 130 gram lemons are eating small rats the size of a adult mouse, maybe somewhat fatter, and they really dont have any problem swallowing them, down the hatch goes easily....:D;)

For the little girl is a 5 day feeding schedule good? Every 5 days

Yeah. I feed every 4-5 days until they hit 500g.

about how long does that take if on a regular schedule (no rush though, i have no one to breed her to ;))
