    Hypo Boa offered *pics included*
Hey, I have someone local whos offered me a hypo boa female. He sent me pictures of two that he had. Now, I dont think the first one is the best quality... Feel free to to me if thats so because I have zero experiance in boa morphs. I dont think the peppering on her is a good trait but for some reason I like her more.

Heres the first girl that i like

And the second girl, who he says is agressive but nicer looking

Tell me what you think, she would be strictly a pet.

Yeah, I most likely going to get her :) I just know from experiance with noobs coming in asking about browned out pastels if they are any good, and dont want to get a horrible example of a morph.

I agree, definitely the first girl because you like her better, and hypo boas tend to do interesting things with their colors as they grow. I had a little boy that looked VERY similar to the first girl when he was a baby, and he grew up to look like this:

So I'm a bit partial to speckly babies with gray heads. :D

I really like the first one more. Both animals are lovely, but I like the coloring and pattern more on the first one. :)

IMO, you can't go wrong with an animal that you personally like. Follow your instinct.

Def get the first one. There are people that will tell you to get the cleaner one... but these are the people that breed for asthetics. And that's their opinion.

If you like her, get her! Personally, that dark little nose IS pretty darn cute!

Well since you said it would be strictly a pet, go for the first one if you like her more, and she has a better disposition. I like them both really. :D I probably wouldnt be able to pick one myself. I would have to really get a good look at each of them. I almost got a normal male once just because how nice his tail was. Loved the red.

Personally I really like the way # 2 looks better. BUT if it is a pet and the first one is nicer and you like that one more I would say to get that one :gj:

What i'll most likely do is ask him to bring both ( Its a local deal) and see which one I fall in love with.

If you're planning on breeding, go with the second girl.

I would go with what you like but that second girl is a very nice example of a hypo. Very clean and great coloration.

I like the idea of seeing both in person before choosing. A picture doesn't really convey an animal as well as seeing it.

Personally, I'd go with the 2nd girl and work on getting her to calm down, if I had to pick between the two.

I think too much emphasis is put on morphs and desirable traits in the snake world. If you like a snake, get it! Don't worry about what other people think. What counts is that you like the snake. And, often times, this pays off. I had my eye on a normal BP on Fauna that hadn't caught anybody's interest. She wasn't flashy or didn't have any unique patterns, but there was something about her coloring that really attracted me, so I bought her, and she's turning out to be a hot little dinker! :D

There is much controversy over speckling on boas. Personally, I prefer a clean pattern, but I know MANY people love speckling.

In my eyes, #1 has better coloring, #2 has a better pattern. Even though I'm not fond of speckling, I must say they are both gorgeous, you couldn't go wrong with either!

If it's going to be a pet, get the one YOU like. Who cares what everyone says? Most people...including BG like the cleaner look of the second one, but like BG said. WHO CARES about us?

Wait. "Who cares" about everyone but Big Gunns?:D

BG just saw those other pics. The first one may look like a nicer adult since it appears to have more of a Salmon color to it. Just pic the one you like and be done with it.:P

Don't tell BG you're worried about your "look at my new snake" thread? You want everyone to ohhh and ahhhh.:D
