Because Paxton flew home to The Nest today - and even in shed, he's a little hottie!!! It's the same old cliche - he looks so much hotter in person!

So now...I don't know how to fold it up. I have twisted and contorted it a couple times, but I feel I am doing more harm than good.

Other than that...I am very happy with it. :)

Anything you can do to avoid having your flash hit your animals directly will help. You can bounce it off the ceiling, or use a light diffuser.

Nice! Even without the light tent. You'll have to post more pics after he sheds and you get a light tent. Or just some good after shed pics. LOL

So do i !!! I actually was going to ask people what they use on here to take pics in... I just made a DIY cardboard box one with the poster board and tissue paper on the sides and top.... It sucks. I guess its just me idk. I think it might just be the fact that I dont have good lights and the ones I had werent positioned well at all. Your pics came out way better then my light tent could have done....

I bought one of those light tents from Ebay. With 3 flourescent bulbs, the equivalent of 120 incandescent watts each, they insisted I could take perfect pictures without a flash or additional lighting. I found this near impossible, no matter how large I opened my aperture and bumped up the ISO speed.

The biggest thing for me was a quality Canon 430 EX II speedlight with a diffuser so it didn't flash directly on the subject. I use this in conjunction with the light tent. This was enhanced by a wireless setup where I can mount the flash remotely, off to the side of the light tent or even on top with a boom. This consistency has been the biggest factor helping the quality of my pics, since now my flash doesn't move everytime my camera does.

Yeah, I don't have much choice in how my flash goes, unfortunately - it's not adjustable. :(

    Congrats

I believe that! Do you have any of John's animals? He needs to make a website (hint, hint), so I can see what else he produces! I know I'll be watching his lessers next year, so I can get a sweet female!
