    Watever
    Re: What Do You Prefer???
Cmon this question is a bit useless :)

It's hard to compare them since they are quite different. One is recessive while the others are Co-Dom or Dominant.

    Pastel : Don't age well.
Mojave : Are good looking but nothing compared to Lessers, but they make BEL.
Spider : Pattern mutation that have genetic fault
Ghost : Recessive color mutation, that make all the other morph better.

    It's everyone opinon.

and so far, only reason why there is a vote for mojave, spider and pastel are cause it's a multiple choice poll I think :)

Maybe it would be better if there is a deeper reason for us to choose between those morphs. Like in terms of mixing them w/ other morphs, or maybe because you are trying to add one on your collection and is unsure of what to choose from them.. things like that. But if what you meant is in terms of looks, then I prefer spider. :)

I chose all of them. I like them all in different ways. A pastel would fit better with a certain snake than a mojave would, for example

Still not totally sure of the point to this thread either

Well this guy I know told me he had no use for 6 Normal Bps. I said I would take them but Ovi if you get 6 Normals you dont want to just breed a Norm male to it you want to adventure with them.

Isn't it ironic how little peoples' preferences seem to have to do with the market value of the morphs? I still think it's a crying shame how low in price Orange Ghosts have gotten--it's not as though we are swimming in them, the way we are in pastels.

if you going to breed to normals youd be better off with a bumblebee, killerbee or a pewter.

i agree on the hypo pricing but lately there just doesnt seem to be many things going on with the ghost gene. sure i have a ghost male and a het female, but im just not seeing the combos being produced anymore

Yea, Um.... I think Ill go with a Pastel and Mojave= Future Pastaves Or Pastel and Spider= Future Bumblebees. What I was gonna do was keep all the females except Normals and selected males and breed them to unrelated Bps and get either quite a few Pastaves Pastels Mojaves and Normals or quite a few Pastels Spiders Bumblebees and Normals......

Do you guys think thats a good plan?

    yes and no.
with the prices of buying a pastel and a spider. it wouldnt be much more to buy a bumblebee male if you figure housing and feeding. not to mention it would give you a chance at a bumble bee with every clutch.

I think Caramel Glows are one of the most underrated morphs. I figured you would see more of them since NERD introduced them in 2001. But you just don't see many...yes they are double recessive, but it's been 8 years and I figured you would see more.

A high proportion of spiders display ataxia and other neurological signs--this is usually not severe enough to compromise the animal's ability to feed, or breed, so isn't considered to be a big deal by most lovers of the morph. Spiders are frequently outgoing, and tend to be excellent feeders.

i agree you dont really see many, but i think the kinking carmels hinder the popularity of the morph
