Re: Anyone have any cool breeding projects?
I do wish me luck! Can't tell them though, it's like making a wish & blowing out candles... you tell it & darned if it won't happen. :P
-
Re: Anyone have any cool breeding projects?
I'm currently breeding my blue piebald with a lesser. I hope to get some interesting combos.
-
Re: Anyone have any cool breeding projects?
All depends on whether my OG and Albino females are ready to go this season. If not, then it's another year of single co-doms, 1 chance at woma-lessers, some albinos and hets, and some pieds and hets.

Sort of agree with Deb to a degree -- some projects you just don't dare speak of until they are out of the egg. I did just get six eggs from a captive hatched girl that I am hoping proves to be a Spector. She was bred by a Streak and once right before she ovulated by my Butter Belly.
Butter SuperStripes :confused::confused::confused: I'll know in 60 days. ;)

Re: Anyone have any cool breeding projects?
Pied X Axanthic
Pewter X Pin, Cinni, and 2 Pastels

Whoa... not sure I understood all of that, but it sounds way cool! :D Butters are absolutely gorgeous, imo, so anything combined with them should be neat looking.

Bill, I hope that girl proves to be a spector because the Pastel Superstripes are something I would deal with the devil for, but a Butter Superstripe...I'm not really sure what I would do for one of those.
PS - How is that ButterBelly doing? Haven't seen any pics recently.

He is good -- better now that he is breeding. :D He has the same sweet temperment of his Butter sire -- great to handle. :gj:
He is going into shed. I'll get some photos when he comes out. I have been pairing him with a few morph girls trying to catch them right before they ovulate. One on those girls is his Yellow belly mom. She is due to lay in 2 weeks.

Sounds great man, I know I would be excited as hell if I had him and he was breeding, good luck with him catching a few of those girls.

Oh boy we've got Quite a few, biggest ones by far are, Pastel Mimosas, Pewter Ghosts, Killer Bees poss. Het ghost, Queen Bees and Lesser Spinners, oh yeah Lesser Champagne as well. We have a bunch more on the site these are just a few.

Re: Anyone have any cool breeding projects?
This will be my first breeding, too!
I'd like to do Lesser x Normal, but if he isn't ready in time (he isn't producing plugs yet), then it'll be VPI Axanthic x Normal.
I have bigger plans for the next couple years involving Axanthics, Red Axanthics, Genetic Stripes, and Womas, as well as Lesser x Mojave BELs as soon as the Mojave is old enough.

Re: Anyone have any cool breeding projects?
A few cool things but it seems "next year" always looks better :)
A couple neater ones and stuff new to me...
Super Lemon Pastel Axanthics
Superstripes
Pastel Spectors
Clowns
Pastel Enchis
Pastel Yellowbellies
Not that new stuff...but new to me is pretty darn cool :)
And of course some other building blocks for the future ;)
