Fantastic pick-ups. I heard the show was great and really well attended. Awesome stuff!
Just the usual warning about quarantining though since you seemed to let them all play together there. ;)

Re: BCRC pick-ups! SUPER-MAJOR dial up warning!
thanks guys, really excited! this is ALL the snakes we are buying, at least until we get them all breeding. i have so many projects i can now begin working on! (well, begin working on after everyone's hit breeding size) the waiting kills me!all the new snakes are in QT for at least 30 days (and trust me my sister will be happy once this is over, there are tubs all over the living room! also the ASF tubs too...it's a zoo!) sage (female pastel) was only allowed to "play" (not a good way to describe snake leisure buuuuut) with the new ones because she lives in the living room anyways, so she's going to be out here with them in QT. i COULD ask my sister to put them all in her bedroom but i HIGHLY doubt that will fly!
as for whoever asked, BCRC is the British Columbia Reptile Club. This is the write-up from the site:
Welcome to The BC Reptile Club. In the summer of 2008 I was talking to Gord Redman (snakemaster) and he was telling me about the new reptile control list that were going to becoming into existence in the near future. After much discussion , I suggested we start a reptile club in BC to help fight the new proposed legislation, Gord agreed and thus The BC Reptile Club started. We started getting people involved in the club and luckily for us Steve Lacroix (Death_ADDER) became involved and created and hosted The BC Reptile Club Forum. The starting of the forum in August 2008 was by far the best and biggest tool to get the word out about The BC Reptile Club and proposed legislation.
As of March 16 2009 the Ministry of Environment has released some new laws about the exotic reptiles that can be kept in private collections. We as a club disagree with some of the rules and animals mentioned in the control list and have been trying to get some publicity via the media regarding this issue.
The BC reptile club is still in its infant stages though we have registered the name and have filed for our non profit status and have started a chapter on Vancouver island so reptile keepers living on the island won't feel left out . We have also had a couple members come through for the club and host a couple social events. We have started trying to get some perks for our paid members including reptile discounts and contests and will be looking to get some more perks for the paid members in the future.
In February 2009 The BC Reptile Club started taking paid members and sponsors , the whole point of doing this was to create some capitol so that we can organize and host a reptile show in the future ,we are hoping for fall of 2009.
The BC Reptile Club (BCRC) has offered to help the BCSPCA re-home any unwanted reptiles and we will do what we can in the community to help promote the safe keeping of reptiles and amphibians. If you have any thoughts or suggestions we would like to hear from you.

sorry for the long-winded response, but there you have it! as a BC citizen i am SO PROUD to have something like that, FINALLY! and the BCRC show was definitely a huge success, in my opinion. a MUCH huger turnout than i expected! it was really fun to go around chattin' with everyone about snakes, i was in HEAVEN considering everyone else i know just thinks i'm weird and crazy for keeping "those slimy slithery things" in "those creepy drawers!" i'm proud to say though, i have turned quite a few non-snake people around!
